Now to give up 2 in the 3rd for the 6th blown lead and 10th in the last two seasons.

Nice to get a PP Goal when the opposing Defenseman puts it in for You.

It's probably because Puustinen was just on the PP.

Antonio wrote: Tue Mar 05, 2024 8:21 pm Well let's be honest. They aren't making the playoffs so given the 1st they have to give up this year or next to SJ... would you rather they do worse now or not so they could have a better pick?
Depends, is Sully coaching next year? Then give them this year's.

Apparently Jarry is the only one who likes to be ahead on the scoreboard.

Eller has done **** all as Sid’s LW. I could name 50 wings who have been better but don’t need to because I think everyone could name 50 players who looked better at some point.

He’s been no better than Smith was. Another “smart” move by Sully.

Jarry not getting much help from his Teammates.Could be 4 or 5 Goals from a better team than CBJ.

Don't worry, Sully and Rierden will get it straightened out in between periods.

Two things can be true…Johnny Hockey is a disgrace to his last name hitting a post on a scoring chance BUT Jarry had it covered even if he got the shot on net.

Question for you CB, if you are a player and you know you are getting traded within the next few days or if you know that there is a good chance you are getting traded within the next few days do you play at a lesser level on purpose? Does a player play at a lesser ability if they know they are getting traded for the following reasons:
- the team acquiring you loses less and therefore you are in a better situation from both a fans perspective and from an organizational perspective.
- once you arrive at the new organization you turn it back on to show that the slump from the previous team was a system thing and not you, the player?

If the answer to either of those is ‘yes’ or even ‘possibly yes’ I think it is important to make a trade sooner rather than later. Now, I realize that is almost the deadline so it’s a mute point but you do have to wonder going forward if it is better to make the trade earlier than later if you know you want to trade a player.

Eller and Smith,2 guys likely gone this week are certainly not ending their runs as Penguins with anything to remember.

Ty Smith on wing might be more effective than Riley

They never learn. After every unsuccessful PP ( I know, which ones aren't) they give up a glorious chance because of zero situational awareness. Mind boggling

Should add in about 12-15 people to tonight's attendance with all these spectators on the ice.
Definitely not participating in the athletic event taking place out there.
