I’m guessing the people still there are waiting for a ride to pick them up??

Im guessing this may be the worst home loss by goal deficit to the Caps in the Crosby era.

When was the last time anyone cared? The team looks like they'd rather be anywhere else.

Can you imagine having paid to watch this debacle?

New Year’s Day 1989 the wife and I sprung for 2nd row seats at the Cap Center in Landover. Pens must have been hungover. Lost 8-0.

It's too bad most of the players have term on their contracts. Much easier to deal if they were UFA rentals...Eller would get a 2nd or 3rd if he was a UFA to be, with another year on his contract, turning 35? probably not much interest.

Smith has to be gone. Ned will go. Colorado is said to be looking for goalie depth. But I would be surprised if anyone big will be gone.

Well! That was a statement game by the Pens. The statement was, "we quit." Trade them all!

Kind of like Sullivan as the head coach of the Pens?

Whatever. The kid's been through 4 NHL teams already. You guys go praise him if you want.

A disheartening, incompetent, pathetic effort. One of the worst performances from this entire group in a long time.
Too many guys to criticize but Letang and Jarry belong at the top of the list.Letang going into a tailspin at the worst time.Beyond accountability from this Coach.
When the season long PP Failure gives up a SHG 2 minutes in it gives the evidence of the way this season went.Never got corrected.
Smith,Eller and Ned likely gone.Jake being dealt is a difficult move but no real alternative.
The System being put out by this Coaching Staff does not have what it takes to compete in today's NHL.

Sidney Crosby made a telling statement after the loss to the Oil about the team not being able to overcome the loss to Calgary.
When the people who are in charge cannot see what is taking place due to their own shortcomings or lack of ability to correct this we see this kind of failure.
7 Years with no tangible success.Deciding that the Playoff Losses and meltdown last year wasn't worthy of major changes.
The last 20 Games will be a rough time for a franchise that is in big trouble right now.

We all know it's adrenaline. However, I will say, I'm not convinced he can't be productive with the right set up. He's what, 25? Not exactly beyond redemption. I definitely think the coach is a big part of it, but yeah, let's not think he's going to suddenly be a 40 goal scorer
