For the rest of this season there isn’t any chance to see a youth movement because cap space is non existent thanks to retaining on Jake and limited call ups. We have either used one or 2 now. and we only get 4.

there’s no cap space and limited call ups. not happening. This is the team and it gets worse when Nieto comes of LTIR and Puustinen gets sent down.

We have seen coaches fired for far less than a guy who hasn’t won a round since 2018 and will now be two years not making the playoffs. that’s not acceptable for any team.

Lousy Period, terrible effort and breakdowns on the Bruins Goals.
Rakell and Smith as top 6 Wingers doing absolutely nothing productive.
Graves as usual gets worked,he just cannot defend worth a thing.
Letang's play shows his mindset and how he knows that there is zero accountability. No reason for him to concern himself.
The way the Team faded as that Period wore on says it all about the Coaching Staff and how they have lost this group.

I was hoping for a slow descent not a free fall.

The Jake trade makes sense in a world where we resigned him, Sid, Geno and Letang are all retired, Karlsson was traded near the end of his deal and he is a cagey vet in…wait for it..2032. All the lip service of wanting to make the playoffs you can’t trade your 2nd best player who is also under 30.

I do not remember a year where I have shut off the game as many times as this year before it was done.
Guentzel our 2nd best player is gone. , Malkin extension was not a good idea, he looks like he checked out 5 years ago. Not sure Graves, Karlsson, or R. Smith were good ideas. Still not a big fan of Letang, Jarry, or Sullivan. Year 1 of Dubis not going well. I am getting tired of hearing Sullivan is the right guy. He is not!!! If you want a good team with a winning record, and nothing else...Sullivan is your man. Same could be said about Tomlin.
What the hell is wrong with all 3 of our pro teams ownership??? Are they in some screwed up agreement?

Pirates are at least transparent on their owners wanting to just make the bare minimum of profit. Steelers issue is the Rooney Rule. Penguins though, I don’t understand at all. 3 different GM’s with massive roster turnover and still the same results, failure.

At first I was ok with the Jake trade, but then I see that he is still young, great and a good teammate. They could have signed him if they wanted, and he will still be productive for many years. It also looks like it has sucked the life out of Crosby. Just sad all around

Puljujarvi had solid game ,but already 2min TOI less than the next guy lol..

Can we fire Sullivan already?? 🤦

Playoffs are gone this year,we should be all about evaluating young guys, aka Poulin, Ponomarev to be up with big boys.. but with no salary capspace that wont happen..

KD said Ponomorev will go to WBS to get acclimated but will be given a shot up here this season. You can send Gruden down for him etc.

If you HAD to trade him the return was fine. But he never had to be traded. That’s the problem most people have.

there is no etc. look at the roster, the space and how many defensemen and forwards we have. There’s not enough to have him and Puustinen when even Rust and DOC are healthy and we only have 6 defensemen on the roster, that’s not sustainable.

Gruden better be up on an emergency recall or we have burned 2 of 4 call ups.

If we aren't going to get a new coach, then they should look to move Karlsson. No need in him carrying a $10mill cap hit to not be special.

Pettersson with a weak giveaway and then terrible on the coverage leading to that one.Just a real bad game from him.
After all the Zone possession and cycling they can't get anything and that finishes it off.SMH.
