I went to the old board and it said this:
The board has switched software. If you're seeing this you need to reload the page (Ctrl+R in IE or Ctrl+Shift+R in Mozilla/Firebird).
I use Firefox, so I did what it said and nothing happened. So I tried IE and did what it said and that worked.
Any ideas why I can't load in Firefox?

This is why I stopped using boards that relied on SQL. We lost no fewer than EIGHT incarnations of our board to SQL db problems... and it wasn't a server issue because this was over the course of 3 or 4 different servers as well.
The one we use now has nearly every feature of the PHP boards and doesn't use sql and has lasted over 2 years now. I'll never use php/sql boards again.
