After not playing for a few days, I resumed Lego Star Wars and completed Episode II and most of Episode II. I'm now 100% done with Episode I, Episode II, the 6 Bonus boards and purchased all 14 bricks. I just need two more canisters on level 5 and level 6 of Episode III and need to beat the Super Story to be 100% done. That should take about an hour.
Then to move on to the original trilogy!
dang, your way further along than I am. Got Episode I about done and did a level or two on Episode II. The more I play this game, the more I realized how much better I liked Batman.
Yeah, I'm 53.6% of the way complete.
That's kind of encouraging I guess that I love this game so much, and still have yet to play Lego Batman (which is next on the list), so if the reviews of that game are better, then I should be in for a treat.
BTW, I played and beat the first two boards on Episode IV (not collecting everything though), and I think those boards are a lot better than the Episode I - III boards. Also, Episode III isn't that bad.

Yeah, it's not that I dislike them, some of the stuff seems a lot more tedious and the levels seem to take a lot longer than Batman's did.
My big complaint about Star Wars though, is the view is practically right on top of your character at times, so you can't see what's all around you. In batman the view is from much farther back so you can see more without walking in circles. If I had played SW before batman I probably wouldn't have noticed.
dl'd the fully edited rosters for MLB the Show this weekend -- all the real minor leaguers with pretty accurate attributes. Playing with the Bucos, trading everyone, stock piling pitching, etc. Since it has all of this year's trades the first year I simmed/played was essentially n ext year's Pirates. I've never seen a team do worse in a video game. I thing my win pct. was literally under .300. Anyway, I just finished my third season. It was my best at like .429. Lincoln and Alderson led the staff. One of my best trades was Matt Capps for Ghylous Chacin and Hector Gomez from the Rockies. Gomez was a rookie last year with Alvarez and my first roudn pick in year 1 (2b) and a fine rookie he was. Also traded Doumit to Cleveland for Carlos Santana and a pitcher. Duke and Hanrahan to Texas for Julio Borbon and some pitcher. Borbon is my left fielder with Cutch and Milledge (Hernandez and Tabata are AAA not doing great). The only really unrealistic move was that Lars Anderson ended up in the Rule 5 draft and picked him up. So, I have a Marlins-esque team this year and Alvarez and Santana are really pounding the ball with Cutch leading off well. I'm hoping to break .500 this time around and in the offseason deal for a starter on a reasonable salary and perhaps upgrade at closer, preferrably on 2 year deals and make a run in that 2 year window.
....and if anyone bothers reading that I'll be shocked.

I read it, but only because I saw The Show and had to see what followed bc I love that game.
I'm disappointed this year because I didn't get near as much time to play this game as I usually do but lately I've been playing my RTTS player a lot more. I'm a starting pitcher in my second year, went 17-4 with an ERA just under 2 and 1 save in AA during my first year. Got traded from Boston to Baltimore during the middle of that year, so far in my second year (called up to AAA) I think I'm 3-1 (maybe 2-1) with an ERA right around 3.
yeah, I want this game really bad but not sure if it makes sense to get with NHL coming out in a few weeks. I stopped at Walmart on my way to work and because my Walmart sucks and "somebody just must've decided not to put it out yet or maybe we don't even have it so come back later" I didn't get it, I might just wait till late winter and pick it up then when I might have a chance of playing something besides hockey all the time.
No, The Show is not arcadey. I abhor arcade sports games.
I think you're thinking of The Bigs.
Ah yeah you are right. I might pick up The Show used then because sports games drop their value quickly when the next season comes out. I don't know anyone in MLB anyway to care about the outdated rosters lol.

you could probably pick up 08 but cheap now, it's a great game. Pretty realistic, in terms of pitch counts and stuff your guys get tired the longer they go and start losing velocity, missing locations more. Offensively you can really do damage by working the counts and battling deep into at bats. Much better than the old swing at every pitch baseball games.
Anyone play Wii Sports 2, or Wii Sports Resort (the official name)? Picked it up last night and it is pretty good. Although I hate that Nintendo makes you buy that adapter for your controller so that you can play the game.

what is this adapter you speak of?
Wii Motion Plus, it comes with one but you need one for every remote to play with the new Wii Sports.
yeah cheesesteak I bought it when it came out. I really like it, better than the original wii sports which I thought was probably the best game I'd played on wii.

yeah, i like it a lot too. basketball is my fav, along with archery and wake-boarding. actually, i like most of it other than canoeing. I couldnt get into that. Glad to see that they put bowling on there as well, which is the best thing Wii ever came up with.

Yeah, I really didn't like the canoeing much either. Having the bowling again was a huge plus to me and I definitely love the table tennis as well. I think my fav was the basketball as well. I sat and played the three-point contest for about an hour the first day I had it, I could barely move my arm the next day lol
