AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH DRAGON AGE IS GOTY!!!!!!!!!!!! So awesome!!! It is basically Baldur's Gate 3. It looks beautiful on PC, but I hear that the 360 owners got a gimped looking version haha.
My God....I'm only like 2 hours into it (some things came up yesterday that prevented me from playing)...I'm hooked. It's so good, and it's certainly not easy. You really need to know what your doing and have some strategy during fights. I learned that fairly quickly.

dragon age is more than worth it...it's made by bioware (who did the baldur's gate stuff).

Not that I know of...pretty sure it's just a straight forward, single-player RPG experience. Which is fine by me.

Borderlands is a game that it took me awhile to like. But as I played it became more and more fun. I suggest though if you have online to play with a friend. Thats how my gf's brother and I have been doing it and it makes the game harder and more enjoyable. While somethings annoy me, overall its a pretty good rpg fps all things considered.

On Dragon Age:

Got like four hours with it yesterday. A bit skeptical at first (felt like I was playing Neverwinter Nights again) but after like half an hour I was sucked into it. The game has already made me feel bad about a decision (altough it hasn't affected anything so far, sometimes there are some lose ends to the dialouge).

It's not very beautiful though. The landscapes, cave walls etc look like old graphics.

I very much like it, but I'm not super thrilled. It's not like with BG 1 & 2 or Oblivion when I knew right away I would enjoy spending those 200 hours playing =)

Oh, no multiplayer. They never intended to include that. Would be tricky with the dialouge and so I guess. Altough they had coop for BG.

Very much enjoyed this review from IGN UK: http://pc.ign.com/articles/104/1040976p1.html
What are your computer specs like? With the PC version scoring much higher than the 360 version, I'm debating which version to buy but I'm unsure if my computer could handle it.
Mine was top of the line 1 year ago. Gforce 4870, 4gb ddr2 ram and great cpu. Not a very demanding game actually. It's not like with Ultima 9 or Oblivion which not even the best computers at the time of release could play at alot more than 30 fps.

I finally got back to playing Punchout for Wii after a long hiatus to beat Lego Star Wars 100%.

I was on Mr. Sandman as a contender. It took me about an hour to finally beat him. I kept restarting when things got dire (i know cheating) and lost once. I then finally beat him.

Now onto the title defense mode.

Nice...my wife just got Punchout from Gamefly and I played it for a while last night. I think I am just starting the third circuit, whatever that is. Man, it gets tough FAST.

We also received Super Smash Bros. for Wii the other day...man I forgot how much of a blast that game is

This is #3 on my list of new games to get.

I pre-ordered Assassin's Creed 2 and can't wait until the 17th.

I have played nothing but Dragon Age since I bought it. I might take a few hour break for MW2 this week but Dragon Age is non-stop lol.

NHL 10. I like 09 better. I could actually dominate people in 09. Now I'll have the puck three times as long as the opponent and twice as many shots and lose. Terrible.

I also got the N64 out after the Bond conversation. I played Goldeneye a little bit. My fiance loves the old school Mario games so I might have to dig out the SNES and play Super Mario All Stars soon.

I'm not sure I quite understand the big deal about MW2...then again, I don't quite understand the big deal about any FPS to begin with...
