I actually like NSMB Wii. I don't normally like nintendo games but playing a 2d platformer with 2 players is pretty fun. It would stink though if you played it solo.

Sony plans to introduce 3D TVs next year and aims for more than 1 trillion yen ($11.24 billion) in sales of 3D-related products in the year ending March 2013.
The Japanese company's PlayStation 3 game consoles can become 3D-compatible by simply updating its software via the Internet, Sony said.

By the way, does any of you download game ISO's for the PS3? I guess what I'm asking if the same applies to roms/isq's as for earlier systems. I do remember friends getting PS1 games on the web some years ago. But I haven't looked into the scene in a long long time, so I'm not sure about PS3 or XBOX, for that matter.

Epic, epic game, but it always felt a little too ahead of it's time, technically speaking. The graphics were amazing, but it didn't feel as smooth as I'd like. The controls were a bit on the floaty side. But with that said, it's more of an experience than a simple game. Can't wait to see what the developer has in store for the PS3. I know they have something on the way...SolidSnake wrote:Shadow of the Colussus

Played like 8 hours of ACII yesterday. Still awesome, not getting nearly as repetitive as the first.

We talked about it a few pages back I think. Dragon Age is my game of the year. If you like Bioware RPGs you will love it. The best Bioware RPG since Baldur's Gate II, in my opinion. Yes, better than Mass Effect.the wicked child wrote:Haven't been interested in any PC games in some time... but has anyone played Dragon Age?

I just won the Stanley Cup in NHL10 with EDM, beating the Pens in game 7 at the Civic Arena in double OT. A Pens team which had Ryan Whitney on it, with GMRS having traded Brooks Orpik to ANA to get him back.
I can finally move on to CODMW2.

I finished the Batman and Robin boards on Lego Batman and have beaten the Riddler boards on the Villian levels.
Also went through the first board and 100% completed it getting all the cansiters, finding the hostage and getting the red brick.

Wanted to play with a random western conf team that was relatively low rated.SolidSnake wrote:slappybrown wrote:I just won the Stanley Cup in NHL10 with EDM, beating the Pens in game 7 at the Civic Arena in double OT. Seconded. Dynasty mode is a lot more fun when you play with a team that you actually have to fix to get it to win. If you take a Detroit or a Pittsburgh there's no work to do, it's boring.slappybrown wrote:Wanted to play with a random western conf team that was relatively low rated.SolidSnake wrote:slappybrown wrote:I just won the Stanley Cup in NHL10 with EDM, beating the Pens in game 7 at the Civic Arena in double OT. I just beat Vancouver (as the Pens) in game 7 of the Finals last night. 0-0 tie after regulation, Cooke scored on a slapper from the blue line with under a minute in the first OT.slappybrown wrote:I just won the Stanley Cup in NHL10 with EDM, beating the Pens in game 7 at the Civic Arena in double OT. All you'd ever want to know about PS3's backward compatibility.
http://www.hardcoreware.net/playstation ... ity-sucks/
http://www.edepot.com/playstation3.html
Seems that there are only 2 models, one 20GB and one 60GB, that feature full hardware support for PS2 games. The model to get from what I read is the 60GB, CECHA01. There are a lot of them for sale on ebay. Used or refurbished of course, for around $250-350. One guy is selling a new one for $800 - that's crazy since you can get both PS3 and PS2 separately for half that.
I'll think about it and maybe get one. Still not sure if I should go PS3 or XBOX, though, but I'm leaning PS3.
