Mel Gibson is returning to the directors seat for a Viking movie! Leo DiCaprio will star.

I don't care what you say about Gibson, the man can make an awesome movie. Apocalypto was absolutely crazy, I'm really surprised you didn't hear about it more in Awards season. Don't know anything about this yet, but I'm excited!

I heard Apocalypto was "meh" but Mel Gibson + Vikings could be interesting...

Neat. I love Scott. I actually liked Kingdom of Heaven, and I don't know very many other people who did.

My wife and I saw the Christmas Carol in 3D this weekend...surprisingly I enjoyed it quite a bit! A lot darker and more true to the original Dickens novel, which I liked. Even better, we saw a preview for TOY STORY 3!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! wooooo

i enjoyed it as well. a little slow sometimes but pretty cool. body of lies was okay, somewhat confusing. i think if i watched it again i would enjoy. matchstick men is pretty entertaining (nic cage kills me in that). a good year was kinda stupid but i liked it because its my dream to own a vineyard

I LOVED Kingdom of Heaven, and excepting the Pirates of the Caribbean movies, it's my favorite role of Orlando Bloom's. He actually acted, and acted well in the movie.

:thumb: :thumb: :thumb: Definitely. One of the few director's cuts that are much better than the regular.

And also, what a soundtrack! Might be my favorite along with A Beautiful Mind.

I watched Gran Torino with the wife last night........wow. What an amazing movie, and a great performance by Clint Eastwood in what will likely be his swansong from acting. I hope I am that spry when I am pushing 80.

We watched Four Christmases last night....it got horrible reviews, but I actually thought it was fairly funny. Typical fare.

The more and more I read about The Expendables, the more excited I get. This movie is going to be so full of win...the cast is absolutely ridiculous.

In holding out for the newest Martin Scorsese film, Shutter Island. Should be out sometime in Feb. DiCaprio doesnt get enough credit for being a good actor.

It's got so many 80's action stars in it. I'm pumped.

Scorsese really makes some great films, but this is style is kind of new direction. I am use to the mafia gang type move out of him (Casino, Goodfellas, Gangs of New York, The Departed). Should be very entertaining.
