Yeah, Hit Girl seems a bit disturbing... there are a couple other trailers out there that are a *LOT* worse than anything in that one though.

Has anyone read the comics that this is based off of? I think Nic Cage is going to be hilar in this. The Director (Matt Vaughn) branched out from being under Guy Ritchie I do believe and he's made some quality flicks so far. He did Layer Cake and Stardust, which I thought was very funny, so I know he can do good humour, just not for everyone

I just saw the trailer for "Cop Out".

What a cool and refreshing idea, not sure why it hasn't been done before. Pairing up a white cop with a black cop, just think of all the zany hijinx they will get into!

Finally watched the Hurt Locker last night. I thought it was phenomenal, and is totally deserving of it's Oscar nods.

This isn't a movie, but I don't know where else to put it so here it is.

Jake Johannsen: I Love You (SHO)

I actually don't like many comedians and I think 90% are unfunny. I think I need some intelligence in my jokes, instead of the usual F words, bashing the church, and the sex jokes. Well, this guy had me glued to the TV. Do yourself a favor and watch this special. I never heard of him before, just randomly clicked on it.

yikes, my suggestion would be to find the original, it's pretty awesome (and by awesome I also mean hilarious)

500 Days of Summer. I liked it and thought it was really well done, except
Spoiler:
the ending almost ruined the whole thing for me. meeting a girl called autumn and then looking at the camera?? gahh.. totally killed the quality movie vibe it had going..

did you enjoy the Han Solo cameo during the wonderful Hall & Oates dancing sequence? I couldn't stop laughing about it throughout the rest of the movie

Yes! That scene and sequence was probably my favorite in the movie. Doesn't hurt that I love that song too.

I saw that in the guide the other night and thought it was a concert by David Johansen. D'oh. I'll have to check it out.

I'm going to see Frozen tomorrow. I'm actually excited for it, though I have a feeling I'm going to be severely let down.

Just used redbox.com to rent Zombieland, if you havent used redbox.com its a godsend. I can reserve and rent from here and just go pick it up, no wasted trips to find they dont have the movie I want. Will give you all the locations near you, and weather or not the movie is rented out, wow, I heart technology.

The one downfall, and this has only happened once, is I arrived at my local G.E. to return my movie from the previous day, I got there at about 5 to 9, and to my dismay got stuck behind someone who probably still considers VHS high speed technology. It took them about 5-8 minutes to figure out how to use the machine, then had to read every description, thus making my movie late. Where redbox scored was, I sent an email, explaining the situation, and they verified my 9:03 pm return time, and refunded my extra charge and gave me a free rental, redbox ftw!

Now that I know I can do everything online, I have destroyed my video store cards!! :thumb: :thumb: I wonder if there's anything in the works as to a video game redbox, that would be ultimate win!

Nothing gives me more pleasure than seeing Blockbuster, Movie Gallery, and all those other flaming ripoffs go down in flames.
