Yeah, the Zombie genre (sans Shaun of the Dead) isn't really my thing, but this was very good. It was funny whereas movies like Land of the Dead come across as just cheesy to me. :slug: :fist:

I watched Year One on the weekend. It was ok. I'm still not sick of Jack Black.

my opinion of jack black is this. He is like chocolate cake. I enjoy a slice of chocolate cake every once in a while, but if I were to sit down and eat a whole chocolate cake, it would probably make me throw up.

Watched Into the Wild again this weekend. I've watched it several times, but, for some reason I especially enjoyed it (again) this time around. Great movie and a really well done sound track by Eddie Vedder. I don't think there's one actor in the movie that doesn't carry their weight.

Saw Cop Out last week and since then have been going through Kevin Smith movies. I just finished Chasing Amy. I'm pretty sure it's my favorite of his. Clerks is certainly his most original movie, but it's incredibly unbalanced. The stuff with Dante and Randal is amazing. Everything with Dante and one of the girls is horrible. Marllrats is great to watch with somebody who has never watched it before. It doesn't hold up quite as well when watching alone. Jason Lee is great, though. Chasing Amy has some cheesiness but the relationships of all the characters are the strongest in any of his movies by far. The ending is pretty meh but that's alright.

Next up, Dogma. After that, it's all downhill from there.

My wife and I are going to see Alice in Wonderland in 3D this weekend as part of our anniversary night. I haven't been to a movie in soooo long, but 15.50 for a movie? Really? We might have to downgrade the dinner plans to pay for the movie!
