If there is one thing Vince can do, it's take a beating, and he is gonna get the beat down of his life at WM. It's the only way it can go down to blow this whole thing off.

I can't wait to see a no DQ match with a 64 year old and a 52-year-old stroke victim with no blood allowed. It'll be great.skullman80 wrote:If there is one thing Vince can do, it's take a beating, and he is gonna get the beat down of his life at WM. Also Ric Flair.. just needs to stay retired. He tries so hard to get crappy angles over, and all he gets is chokeslammed through the stage.
Should have just rode off into the sunset after Wm24.

Is it all no blood on PPV's now too?nocera wrote:I can't wait to see a no DQ match with a 64 year old and a 52-year-old stroke victim with no blood allowed. I only really order Wrestlemania anymore, and I ordered RR this year. I know they won't do blood on TV, but I would think for an angle like this.. they would allow it, but if not... meh.
As I said before it should just be literally 15 minutes of Bret beating the crap out of Vince, no offense for Vince at all, he just has to sell the beating which he can do very well. No blood would hurt, but I still think it could be pretty effective even without it, as long as Vince sells like the beast that he is.

Re: The Pro Wrestling Thread
Raw was meh again, I didn't see enough of TNA, though I have it DVR'd on the other TV so I'll watch it later. Hopefully next weeks show is a good final buildup to WM.
Is Punk even in a match? Travesty if not... he is the best thing WWE has going right now on either show.

I gotta say The Miz is the best thing in the WWE.skullman80 wrote:Raw was meh again, I didn't see enough of TNA, though I have it DVR'd on the other TV so I'll watch it later. Hopefully next weeks show is a good final buildup to WM.

The Miz/ Bryan Danielson... er Daniel Bryan thing that is happening on NXT is awesome. It's being built on properly , and the interaction between those two the last couple weeks has been all sorts of awesome.
Miz is entertaining, and the two play off each other well.

And I agree, he even managed to save another lame "family" segment when he sang Happy Birthday to Rey's 10-year-old daughter.
The rumor is it'll be Hair vs. Mask but there has been nothing in the feud that would suggest they're going that route.
PS. A better RAW ending would've been Bret revealing he faked the injury, hitting Vince with the cast, Vince spinning from the blow right into a Stunner. Bret and Austin celebrate with a beer bash.

Re: The Pro Wrestling Thread
Seriously, Austin was horribly misused. I swear to God it seemed like they gave him less time than they gave Jewel and her PBR husband, or whatever other C list celeb was hosting in previous weeks. What you said is the smart and perfect way to end that Raw.....I don't get why that didn't happen. NOT ONE FREAKING STUNNER ALL SHOW?!nocera wrote:PS. Also, I guess the Randy Orton face-turn is in final stages of completion by teaming with Triple H next week.

Montreal 1997 wasn't fake. What's to say that Vince told Brett 2010 one thing, get him to Mania, and just do it again just for kicks?guins87 wrote:You know wrestling's fake, right?PensOnDVD wrote:As twisted as Vince can be in real life it wouldn't shock me if he did another "Montreal" on Brett at Mania just to piss him off even more.

The man can definitely work a crowd too. I had to laugh at his hobble to the ring.skullman80 wrote:If there is one thing Vince can do, it's take a beating, and he is gonna get the beat down of his life at WM. It's the only way it can go down to blow this whole thing off.
TNA is turrible. I flipped it on during a commercial, and as I'm trying to figure out who is who, I get a call from my sister. Doesn't say what she's watching, she just says "Are you watching this?" I have no idea what she's talking about. Before I can ask, she says "Hulk Hogan and that guy from his reality show? Really? Is this some sort of retirement show or something?" The guy from his reality show had long blond hair shaved up the sides and I could have swore he was using a cane or something to get around when he was on Hogan Knows Best.

All TNA is right now is WCW2. It's the same production, same wrestlers, same story lines, and same crappy product.

Re: The Pro Wrestling Thread
Finally watched TNA. I think what annoys me about the show, almost as much as all of the has-beens, is the crowd and the obvious sign plants. I'm supposed to believe that this crowd of tourists who get into this show for FREE all decided to wear glow-in-the-dark face paint? That they all made signs that say things like "Vince Who?" and "TNA-mania running WILD!"? Then the ones who aren't plants are the smart marks who clap for every move and end up being a weak imitation of an original ECW crowd.
How about Scott Hall wrestling in baggy jeans and a TNA sweatshirt with Wolfpac written in sharpie?
It also bothers me how much they use blood. A little blood can go a long way. When week after week, we see Flair covered in blood, then Angle and it loses any sort of impact (pardon the word choice).
The X Division is awesome. But how about featuring it in a match instead of some weird brawl where there's nothing at stake.
AJ Styles and Jeff Hard was an absolutely awesome match, though. TNA could be great if they got people behind the scenes who knew what they were doing. Instead of Bischoff and Hogan, they should've brought in Paul Heyman. The booking is SO bad with Russo that there's no way TNA will ever truly succeed until he's gone. Hopefully when he goes, he takes Hogan with him.
