I watched the few eps on On Demand the other day...and I really changed my opinion on it. It's pretty damned funny. Joel McHale is actually the weakest link, I think.
I watched the pilot of Parenthood as well...I'm amazed it's not an Aaron Sorkin show. It's pretty good.
I don't know how someone could have disliked the first episode. You should be deprived of oxygen for the next 4 hours.
Honestly, I thought it tried too hard. I was really excited for it and it just ended up kind of grating. Probably because it reminded me a lot of sitting with my one group of friends who really can only carry on conversations using pop culture references and quotes. It was overbearing the first episode.
Now, not so much. Sure there are some pop culture references here and there, but it's a little more toned down. I dunno, I could be imagining that, but that's what it seems like.

Last night's Community was great. It's a much better show than I had anticipated.

I rarely watch any TV shows in "real time". I think the ONLY thing I watch in "real time" is hockey. Everything else, I DVR. My DVR usually contains:
24
Law & Order: SVU
Parenthood
Criminal Minds
CSI: NY
Numbers
Mentalist
Grey's Anatomy
NCIS
The Daily Show
I feel like I'm missing something, but that's the bulk of it.

Fair enough. I've seen it a few times, just never really got into it. I love The Mentalist though.

Just caught up with the newest episode of Community. I thought it was relatively weak, though everyone else I've heard talk about it seemed to think it was amazing. The end when Troy started crying about the Cookie Crisp.

Stupid Hulu doesn't go back far enough for my catching up on Castle.
Modern Family off to an amazing start:
Claire: Hey, Honey. Hugh Grant has a-
Phil: I'm in.
You mean her second lesson, because she just got schooooled.

I laughed really hard when Pierce was reading Jeff's mind.
