Has anyone actually ever ordered a TNA Pay Per View because I never have? Smackdown comes to Charleston, SC in 2 weeks and I am contemplating about going. I hope the draft next week put some quality stars on Smackdown so it would make my decision to attend that much easier.

You have to remember that last night for Raw, they didn't have any of their roster there because they're all stuck in Ireland. The whole night was thrown together at the last minute.

Dude, go to Smackdown, it's way better than Raw. They already have Jericho, Edge, Undertaker, Mysterio for their top guys? Who do you want to see on there?

EDIT: How could I forget CM Punk? He's worth the price of admission alone.......although I'd bet any money he's headed to Raw next week.

That's because you're not straight-edge.

Did he have the same schtick wherever he was before or is this new to WWE? Could he just get his head shaved this weekend, come to raw, and be completely different?

I'm pretty sure he started as a face in Ring of Honor but became a heel not long after he was there.

I believe Punk was a face with ECW and when he moved to Smackdown he started as a face, but then turned heel.

From what I remember hearing he did this whole straight-edge savior schtick in developmental.

CM Punk started as a face in both IWA-MS and ROH, then went full blown heel(Then face again on ECW at first.. then heel etc etc). He's much better as a heel. He's honestly one of the best things going in wrestling right now, in any federation. He's brilliant in the ring and on the mic, just an awesome wrestler and his character is great.

I still wish he could do the Pepsi Plunge(top rope pedigree), but it will never happen in WWE. His moveset hasn't been completely neutered whne he came to WWE, but it's been toned down quite a bit.

Punk in IWA-MS

Punk in ROH vs AJ Styles.

That is part 1.. the other parts are on their too.

He's been doing the straight edge gimmick long before WWE. He's been doing it pretty much his entire career from IWA to ROH to ECW/WWE.

Just watched Impact. The Hardy/RVD/Styles stuff was awesome. I just wish the old guys would either step down, or be fired. Sadly, with Hogan having any semblance of power, that won't happen. I couldn't care less about Team Flair or Team Hogan.

TNA has every wrestler it needs to be successful. All they need is a booker who actually knows what he's doing and isn't resting on laurels gained during a brief period 12 years ago.

Feature the young guys, bury the old farts, cut back on the blood, and go back to basics. As Paul Heyman said on his Twitter page: "Heels beat up babyfaces. Babyfaces swear revenge. People tune in. Holy $*#&! The formula is not that f'n complicated, people!"

I will probably go to the Smackdown show, but I am waiting to see how the draft pans out.

Reports are out today that Jim Ross had a meeting with TNA. His WWE contract expires April 30th. If WWE is stupid enough to not use JR, then I hope he goes to TNA. He's the best annoucer of all-time, and honestly I think would be the biggest free-agent signing for TNA yet. I know I personally would watch his first episode on TNA over Raw, just out of frustration at WWE's stupidity for not putting him back on the air.

Haha, on a sidenote, I recently ordered some of his 'Hot' BBQ sauce from his restaurant's website. It was $24 for 3 bottles, and he threw in a free auto'd 8x10. In all honesty, the sauce is AMAZING. I highly recommend it.

JR could also help TNA with development and in other behind the scenes areas where they desperately need some guidance. I'd be surprised to see him doing a weekly broadcast again.

I've been curious about his BBQ sauce. The blog on his website is always solid read.

I'd much rather listen to Jim Ross call matches than all of the current play by play wrestling announcers out there.

He was when he originally went off of Smackdown, but has since recovered. I believe he's been OK for a few months or so now. Rumors were huge that he would announce WrestleMania this year, but Ross has stated that he was willing and WWE chose not to have him do it. Huge mistake.

Shelton Benjamin will show up in TNA, have a huge run-in in a main event match, then promptly be forgotten about. Can't wait!
