Apparently Viacom recently signed a deal with Netflix to put a ton of shows on the Instant Watch. I just added The State, Reno 911, Strangers with Candy, Dog Bites Man, Upright Citizens Brigade, Aeon Flux, Ren & Stimpy, Rocko's Modern Life, Angry Beavers, Aaahh! Real Monsters, and Hey Arnold. Oh boy.

Re: TV Shows
I really liked the Final Law and Order...Now hopefully it gets picked up by TNT or USA...They have a great cast right now
The show had really recovered from the "lost years" from when Orbach left. The Detectives and the D.A.'s are great. Best Chemistry in the D.A.'s office since Abby Carmichael left.

Re: TV Shows
rocko's modern life is so full of win, even now. I liked Hey arnold and angry beavers and still know all the words to the theme songs. Add in doug and Boy meets world and you got my early (not that early, like 8-10ish) years.Chefpatrick871 wrote:Letang Is The Truth wrote:rockos modern life!! angry beavers!!! hey arnold!!! best day ever!![]()

Didn't care for his character on Mad Men, saw him in a so-so movie called The Great Buck Howard...Orange County was good.

oh yeah, I loved it. For some reason I thought last weeks was the finale and then i find out theres 1 more and it's 2 hours! I was happy, this season is very good. Shaw is such a good bad guyPensFanInDC wrote:Finale of Chuck was great IMO
We watched the 1st episode thinking it was a comedy and man it was the most depressing show ever, but we kept with it and I think it's been one of the best dramas on tv, I just don't like when coach calls his boy sonnyLetang Is The Truth wrote:i have been watching with my gf. we have been staying pretty current. i enjoy it. its the same as brothers and sisters thoBadHands71 wrote:Anyone watching Parenthood? Amazon has 'Firefly' the complete series on blu for $27.99 (down from $90) today. Never seen it, but I know a lot of people on here say it's good stuff. I'm in for one

If you have Netflix, Firefly was added to instant watch about a week ago.eddysnake wrote:Amazon has 'Firefly' the complete series on blu for $27.99 (down from $90) today. Never seen it, but I know a lot of people on here say it's good stuff. I'm in for one

Re: TV Shows
I'm going to start watching the first season of Tru Blood on DVD.
I've read like the first 7 books. Do they follow those, or is it based loosely off the books?
Is the series any good. I know there was a thread about the series, but couldn't find it. Yes, I'm lazy.

its very close at times and completely off course at other times. some of the characters in the book that are only around for a page or two have pretty decent sized roles.newarenanow wrote:I'm going to start watching the first season of Tru Blood on DVD.

Re: TV Shows
got the books collecting dust, but love the series. Stick with it, if I remember correctly, the first 2 episodes may start a bit slow
