Thanks, yinz.
I had a very nice day. MCM took me to dinner at my favorite restaurant, and was very creative with my present. I opened a small box first, to find a matchbox car that looks like ours. Then a bigger box, where I found nothing except a portrait of Christopher Columbus. Then another box, where I found a small wooden train engine. Then another box, with nothing but a photo of the inside of a hotel room (one I had just stayed in, so I knew it was this hotel in Chicago). Then, finally, another box with a guidebook to Chicago, and a "certificate" for: free ride to Columbus (Wisconsin), tickets on the train to Chicago, two nights stay at the Hotel Allegro, tickets to a show of my choosing, and various other fun things in Chicago!
And now I get to plan it all, and take a guest. Hmmm, who shall I take?

Any Artistes Out There
I know she wants to go to at least one art museum, so I am not sure she will want me around. I don't think too many artists do golf course art
. So you guys just keep bidding. If you love art, you might have a chance

Lemme take a crack at this......Jerez wrote:Okay, I'll take applications.
1) What is your favorite color?
2) What is your favorite food?
3) What is your favorite hockey team?
4) Why should I pick you?
I give extra points for creativity...
1) What is your favorite color? Black and Gold
2) What is your favorite food? Chicago Deep Dish Pizza

3) What is your favorite hockey team? The Pens of course....
4) Why should I pick you? Because I started this birthday thread?

I also like long walks on the beach, the wind blowing through my hair and cozy evenings by the fireplace.
