Re: The Pro Wrestling Thread
LOL when I was at PSU he did the same thing........it was pretty obvious that everyone there just wanted to see one of their old school WWF heroes, and also pretty obvious that he wanted nothing to do with that. Then on the other hand, we went to see Jesse Ventura speak, who glady recited "I AIN'T GOT TIME TO BLEED!" when someone asked him to during the Q&A.nocera wrote:I went to a lecture the Warrior had at my college when I was in school. He scared the hell out of me. At one point, he berated the president of the young republicans for not knowing the second amendment by heart. When the first question in the Q&A was, "What was your favorite WWF moment?" I thought he was going to gorilla press the poor kid.

Re: The Pro Wrestling Thread
I have no interest in watching another season of NXT. The only rookie that looks worth seeing is Kaval. He was in ROH and TNA as Low-Ki. Never saw him wrestle but he's another one of those internet darlings. Too bad we have to watch him be "mentored" by Team Lay-Cool.
The other rookies have the lamest names ever. Michael McGillicutty (Mr. Perfect's son. Actually, I'm interested in seeing him work too), Husky Harris, Eli Cottonwood, Titus O'Neal. Is this 1994? Where's Doink?

Low-Ki is pretty good, but he works a bit stiff, so not sure how adaptable his style will be to the WWE way.nocera wrote:I have no interest in watching another season of NXT. Paul Bearer was the man, especially during the Take/Kane Storyline. I want the Inferno Match back.shafnutz05 wrote:they don't make em like this anymore:

that sucked, I was devastated when that happened lol. I remember the WWF was coming to Pittsburgh within a few weeks of that and I was worried the Ultimate Warrior (my favorite wrestler if that makes a difference here) wouldn't be there for the show because of thisSolidSnake wrote:Nothing tops when he cursed the Ultimate Warrior and the Warrior started pukingshafnutz05 wrote:Paul Bearer used to freak me out a lot...with his creepy makeup and excessive sweating. haha that clip with Mean Gene is unreal. For starters, Mean Gene going "Thank God THAT'S over!!!" The face of the redneck in the crowd at the end displaying utter and complete shock is priceless
