That one guy fighting in the glasses last night was absolutely terrible. When Husky Harris went to jump up to land on his back, the guy in the glasses was supposed to roll out of the way, but instead rolled into it and took the blow. It looked good on tv, but you could definitely tell the guy in the glasses rolled the wrong way.

I tried to find a decent picture of the triple cage match but came up empty. That match was ridiculous.

Re: The Pro Wrestling Thread
Here's a brief report on the FCW show in Melbourne on Wednesday night since it involves the NXT Invasion angle from WWE TV.
In the main event, Christian and Heath Slater were scheduled to face The Miz and Daniel Bryan. They announced Christian and Heath Slater, but only Christian came to the ring. In a funny aside, they played Christian's old music and he began his promo by thanking FCW for keeping their music up-to-date.
Christian recapped the events from Monday and said how disappointed he was with Slater. A "Cena Sucks" chant broke out and Christian said he'd have to disagree since Cena is the WWE champion. He then demanded that Slater come out and explain himself.
Slater basically said that he didn't get the proper advice from Christian, as evidenced by the fact that he only came in fourth on the show. He said Christian never had the right answers for him. As he was cutting this promo, Daniel Bryan ran to the stage and attacked Christian from behind. At some point, they took the "gang" arm bands from their tights, put them on and said to each other, "This is what it's all about," or something to that effect. They began beating Christian down and The Miz ran out to make the save.
The Miz said that he doesn't always see eye to eye with Christian, but the Pros have to stick together tonight. He played face the rest of the night and the crowd was actually very into him. Miz had the idea that the Pros should team up and teach the Rookies a lesson.
Christian & The Miz vs. Daniel Bryan & Heath Slater went to a No Contest. A nice match ensued, as Slater and Bryan seem to have taken well to their psycho heel roles. About 15 minutes or so into the match, the rest of the Rookies began to creep to the stage. They surrounded the ring similar to Monday and Miz and Christian got back-to-back in the middle of the ring. A funny moment happened when the ref pulled off his shirt and offered to fight next to Christian and Miz. He was quickly thrown from the ring and the Rookies beat Christian and Miz.
They began to rip off the ring aprons, throw stairs, and broke a glass vase near ringside (which appeared to annoy the agent, who I believe was Tom Prichard). They didn't do as much damage as Monday, but it was still pretty well-done.
The scene at the end was a cool one as Wade Barrett stood at the top of a raised stage and assessed the carnage as the other Rookies caused damage. The show ended with the eight Rookies standing on the stage and looking over the damage.

Re: The Pro Wrestling Thread
I had absolutely nothing to do or watch tonight, so I begrudgingly gave TNA another shot. Surprisingly, it wasn't that bad. It had some quality matches, which is more than Raw can say these days (Angle vs. Amazing Red was really good). One funny thing did happen though......the main event was Hardy/Anderson/Abyss/Lethal vs. Styles/Wolfe/Beer Money, and one of the dudes from Beer Money superkicked the hell out of Anderson, like to the point where I rewound it 5 times. He definitely broke Anderson's nose, it was pouring out by the end of the match.

I'm going to say it's a work. Though, if it is a work, it's a strange one considering he doesn't have a contract as far as the storyline goes.Cagsjr724 wrote:Daniel Bryan released

If it's true and he's released, that's the end of the NXT invasion angle.

Haha. Oh, WWE. Again, if this is true, it effectively kills the NXT invasion. Nobody wants to see Barrett and a bunch of scrubs act tough. Danielson gave that group credibility.Cagsjr724 wrote:he was fired for being to hard on justin roberts so says this link

I didn't really mind the PG TV stuff, but if somebody gets fired for fake choking a ring announcer with a tie, that's gone too far. Give him a warning, make him job for a couple weeks, but firing him? Come on...
I still have a hard time believing this is real.
