Erin Andrews is much more tolerable on the 'internet' than she is on ESPN

Such a classy town. Every Philly sports team should be required to watch this short educational film in training camp:SolidSnake wrote:Whats it with Philly teams and affairs?doublem wrote:beerman wrote:lulz, sources are saying Jayson Werth was/is having an affair with Chase Utley's wife: http://www.rotoinfo.com/comments-latest ... 32115.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

You talking about that split he did in the softball game? I walked into the room just as he did that and figured they were going to have to cart him off the field.Idoit40fans wrote:I did not expect to see Piazza get up after that.

How was the homerun derby last night? I didn't even get to watch it. Probably the first time I missed it in like 20 years.

Better than the past couple years I thought.newarenanow wrote:How was the homerun derby last night? I didn't even get to watch it. Probably the first time I missed it in like 20 years.
3 things would vastly improve the derby now:
1 - the big guys have to be involved more, I don't want to see Corey Hart, Chris Young and Vernon Wells doing this. Pujols, A-rod even someone like Vladdy needs to be in this. If it takes paying them off then do it but this is the big attraction to All-Star week they need to have a little more star power in the event.
if they aren't going to do that then:
2 - less Chris Berman
3 - less clothing and less talking from Erin Andrews. Just have her stand there, much more enjoyable.

I have to admit, I didn't see much of it. That being said, since I watch the Pirates on a regular basis, I see about 100 of them per season.newarenanow wrote:How was the homerun derby last night? I didn't even get to watch it. Probably the first time I missed it in like 20 years.

Ubaldo Jimenez goes up and in on Jeter. Good on ya, Ubaldo. Next time, go about 3 inches to the right and you'll be awesome.

Hitters who swing at the first pitch after a pitcher has just walked a guy drives me nuts. However, Brian McCann came through with a 3-run double, so he gets an appreciative nod from me. Which NL reliever gets the honor of blowing the game?
