Your obsession with Jeter is a little concerning.

evan meek, of course :pop:
Nah, Meek will be nailed to the bullpen bench. No sense in bringing in a hard-throwing pitcher who a lot of AL hitters have never seen before. That might work.

I like seeing him get knocked down. I don't really have a problem with Jeter, moreso the media fawning over his bowel movements. He was Tim Tebow before Tim Tebow was cool, only without the virginity vow.

I prefer to think of him as Sidney Crosby, before Crosby was cool. :pop:

Mercifully no. Neither did Billy Wagner, another former goat. Heath Bell gagged it last year, but he's already made the scene. Jonathan Broxton is the most likely victim tonight. That's assuming that AL hitters don't tee off on 97-year-old Arthur Rhodes, who I'm guessing will be the setup man.

Mike Williams was an All-Star with an ERA close to 6. Strange things happen with braindead NL managers.

Has to be Broxton. I'd hope Manuel would be willing to use anyone in the bullpen in the 9th to get the win, but more than likely Uncle Charlie is already asleep.

Oswalt could have gone instead of Meek, and McCutchen instead of Bourn. Manuel would have then had a good outfielder to use as a defensive replacement. But then I'm assuming Manuel isn't completely senile.

Why are there Cubs players there? When you are 3-9 vs the Pirates, you automatically should get banned from any All-Star games and post season appearances.

Josh Johnson has some nasty pitches. I like it. Can't wait to see him in Boston or NY soon.
