After the Survivor Series, the feud between Hulk Hogan and Brutus Beefcake vs. Randy Savage and Zeus ended with a steel cage match on December 27, 1989. Hogan and Beefcake were once again victorious in what would be Zeus's last match in the WWF, and shortly afterwards he made a brief promotional appearance prior to the Royal Rumble, his last appearance with the WWF. Despite his reputation as an unstoppable monster, Zeus left the company having never won a match (Zeus did not have any preliminary matches in his WWF run).
how did I miss him? Summerslam '89 would have put me.....in 10th grade. I'm almost sure I was still watching WWF back then, especially since my friend across the street from me had one of those boxes that picked up everything.

I decided to watch TNA tonight because I heard they're doing an ECW invasion angle. I almost turned it off after Abyss beat a leg of beef and smashed a watermelon with a piece of wood with nails sticking out of it. Apparently, the way to make Abyss scary is to turn him into Gallagher.

Dreamer, Rhyno, Stevie Richards, and a very out of shape Raven showed up in the crowd. They attacked Abyss from behind, then security came out, then the TNA locker room. All the former ECW guys on the TNA roster joined in taking out TNA guys. In summary, it's every other invasion angle ever done in professional wrestling. The end to this mayhem might've been the worst cliff hanger I've ever seen.

The booking of TNA is late WCW bad. Not very surprising, considering who they have running the ship.

I havent caught too much of TNA, but I did keep it on for that. That was so poorly done. The announcers fake confusion as to why the ECW guys were there, and why the TNA mgt was fighting with them was tare-a-bull. Then at the end when the owner lady got on the mic and yelled Stop, Stop. I invited them! Right before they went off air they got a close up of Al Snow with a shocked look on his face and he mouthed "What?!!?" Um, Al, if you had no idea why they were there, why did you come out and start helping them beat up your own TNA guys? Wasn't the angle for the old ECW guys to be in on it?

Anybody going to watch Money in the Bank PPV on Sunday? The card is solid except for 2 Woman Matches. That is a joke to have two female matches. One, I can do with, but two female matches is going to turn alot of people off. What does everyone else think?

I saw a commercial for the PPV, and they kept saying "Money in the bank." You know what I thought of every time he said it?

Now, I dont live in Pittsburgh anymore, but are there bars in Pittsburgh or the surrounding area where you could watch the PPV as well? I live in South Carolina and there are two bars 5 minutes away from me that show every WWE PPV.

Spoiler:
Kane wins the Smackdown MiTB. I was hoping for Christrian or Matt Hardy. Don't see why Kane is getting a Championship push.

Spoiler:
I think this means that Swagger is going to win the Championship off of Mysterio based on how the last Smackdown ended with Kane chockeslaming Swagger's father and then Tombstoning him. It sets up a Kane vs. Swagger rivalry for a while. I think Kane is getting the push based on how well he has performed during this whole Undertaker being incapacitated thing. I think that in the end, it will be revealed that it was Kane that injured the Undertaker.

That makes sense. I guess we could see Swagger win tonight and Kane turn it in immediately. I wouldn't mind that.

I hoping that if Swagger wins, he "breaks" Mysterio's ankle in the ankle lock move that he stole off of Kurt Angle so that Mysterio is out of action for a while, and he isn't involved in the fued between Kane and Swagger.

Kane cashed in and beat Rey after Rey beat Swagger. It looks like it will be a feud between him and the undertaker for the title whenever taker returns

I was really surprised at the results of both MITB matches. Kane took the Smackdown one and cashed in and beat Rey tonight which was awesome. I am shocked though that the Miz won Raw's MITB. I did not see that coming. The NEXUS coming in at the end of the main event was expected and pretty weak to me. MITB was a better PPV than Fatal 4 Way which isn't saying much.

The best part of the night was Miz winning. A complete surprise and totally earned.

I agree with Gonchar's #1 fan, it seems like it's going to come out that Kane was the one to take out the Undertaker and boom, there's your feud. I can't say that I have absolutely any interest in that, though.

I watched it tonight and was quite satisfied. Don't ask me why, but I always thought Kane deserved more than his 1 day title reign in 1998, so I was glad to see him pick up the win. I also thought the Smackdown MITB match was fantastic........that Kofi boom drop off the ladder onto McIntyre was sick. Also extremely stoked that The Miz won. The title match went as expected. One of the better PPVs I remember seeing in a while IMO. I'm hoping they draw out the Miz having the briefcase for a while.
