That was intense watchin the Miz size up Sheamus and the anticipation to see if he was going to cash in. He played it off perfectly. I don't know why, but unfornately I have a feeling the Miz will be the first one to lose after cashing in.

Well the ending to Raw pretty much sucked.. the whole Super Cena team... just meh. Khali? haha... Bret? He's a cripple. I mean the rest are ok, but I just think ... it's just kind of dull. Oh well.. have to see where they go with it.

Re: The Pro Wrestling Thread
Same here. If they really wanted to make it on something maybe for 1 PPV do away with one championship match just so you can have teh biggest superstars on his team for this. And I was hoping there'd be a few more heels teaming up with them so its more the entire WWE vs Nexus.skullman80 wrote:Well the ending to Raw pretty much sucked.. the whole Super Cena team... just meh. By the way I can't wait until Barrett gets to ditch these jobbers and start being built up on his own.

Hmmm guess I didn't miss much. That redhead on the Nexus looks like a complete toolbox.skullman80 wrote:Well the ending to Raw pretty much sucked.. the whole Super Cena team... just meh. Yeah that team was pretty much a joke. Methinks they banked on Triple H being the blockbuster member but he isn't healthy enough yet.

and he had a program with Sheamus before he went off for his surgery, doubt they will sweep that under the carpet.steve784 wrote:Yeah that team was pretty much a joke. Methinks they banked on Triple H being the blockbuster member but he isn't healthy enough yet.

Re: The Pro Wrestling Thread
I don't really understand Nexus anymore. What exactly is their goal? Just to eff with Cena? They clearly don't care about the championship, they're already respected and they have their "contracts." Maybe if they said that Cena was the "heart" of the WWE and the only way to kill the WWE was to remove its heart, I would be more into this. Right now, they have absolutely no motivation.
Hell, every crappy heel wrestler from the 80s and early 90s had motivation for challenging Hulk Hogan, and it was rarely to win the title. It was almost always to destroy Hulkamania "once and for all."

Re: The Pro Wrestling Thread
It is definitely losing steam since they're not actually wrestling whatsoever. I see it going one of two ways after this 'huge' match at SS. We're either going to see the Cena team clean up and Nexus disband and go their separate ways, or we're going to see a 'surprise' leader/ally emerge and help them win to further the angle. They keep alluding to this 'greater cause' or whatever when they talk, so maybe we'll start to see the meaning of that unfold at SS.SolidSnake wrote:I been kinda tired of the Nexus since they beat up Vince.

Before they announced the final Cena team member, I was really hoping it would be Daniel Bryan.

Re: The Pro Wrestling Thread
I have a feeling that it will be revealed that either Sheamus or Jericho is the true leader of the Nexus. Sheamus has yet to receive a beatdown from them, and Jericho's beatdown was pretty mild.steve784 wrote:It is definitely losing steam since they're not actually wrestling whatsoever. I can only see Summerslam going one of two ways. One: Cena turns. I really doubt this will happen but it'd be awesome. All he'd have to do is turn on Bret, and beat the hell out of him with the rest of the Nexus. Two, and probably the more likely of choices: Bret turns on Cena, and is revealed as the Nexus leader. His motivation is obvious: wanting to destroy Vince by destroying what he loves most, the WWE.

Yep, would make sense. They faked the car thing just like he faked the leg break before Mania. I kinda like it, but at the same time that kind of just sets us up for Vince/Bret II..........which I don't think anyone in their right mind wants to see.Kicksave wrote:I can see this.nocera wrote:I can only see Summerslam going one of two ways. Re: The Pro Wrestling Thread
Not necessarily. It would set up a series of little angles where Vince tries to make amends to Cena and others in an attempt to get them on his side. It would be Vince leading the WWE team vs. Bret leading the Nexus. So Bret and Vince would never need to have a one-on-one match. Or, the Nexus could take out Vince once and for all and leave the WWE without their chairman.steve784 wrote:Yep, would make sense.
