Most theme songs in the WWE suck now. They generally all sound the same. Theme songs used to sound unique.

What do you consider ECW?

Not the watered down WWF/E version right?

... and for all the hardcore stuff they did, they had legit wrestling too. Benoit/Malenko/Guerrero/Jericho etc all went thru there at one point or another. They had lucha libre stuff. They had something for everyone. I know the highlights always show the hardcore stuff, but they had a little bit of something for everyone no matter what kind of wrestling you enjoyed.

Even old ECW that used to air at 12am on fri/sat nights. They'd show 1 or 2 matches at the most and have lots of ads "Buy Hardcore Heaven 97!'" the only wrestler I liked was Taz

I've been watching the stream. RVD/Sabu is coming up now, since Jerry Lynn had to pull out because of injury.

This show has been AWFUL. It's a parody of what ECW was, and a joke. It's been a trainwreck, which I only expect to get worse in this last match.

I didn't watch the PPV, but I'm guessing a lot of this has to do with the Impact Zone and the crowd. The crowd at TNA is a cheap knockoff of an ECW crowd.

The Sabu/RVD match was not bad. I expected Sabu to botch a ton of moves, but he didn't. Dreamer/Raven match wasn't bad as well except Raven looks way to old to be wrestling. Dudleys/Balls and Axl Rotten was a solid match considering they lit the table on fire. The last 3 matches were solid, but the beginning matches were awful.

The Dreamer/Raven match was awful. They did their normal spots etc, but it still sucked. It had no emotion behind it like their feud did 14 or 15 years ago...they tried to re-create magic that isn't possible. Last night was just two guys mailing it in for a paycheck.

Sabu/RVD wasn't as awful as it should have been, but still... pretty bad. Sabu's back is beyond **** up though I don't even know how the guy walks.

Dudleys/Balls and Axl was ... just tough to watch. Gertner was the highlight of that whole mess before the match started. Then you think well at least here comes New Jack out to save the day... but no... still lame, and then they all hugged afterwards? WTF was that crap. When have you ever seen New Jack friggin hug someone after a match. It was just lame.

2 Cold Scorpio's match with CW Anderson I think it was was pretty good. Scorpio can still move around the ring.

The whole even just felt forced. Very very forced. It wasn't a representation of what ECW was in any way shape or form to be honest.

Dreamer used to be one of my favorite wrestlers too, but the guy is just a shill for himself now, he's retired 3 or 4 times now, he just needs to give it up. No one cares about him anymore.

Joel Gertner was the highlight of my night as well. He is hilarious. New Jack hugging someone was awful. The ending of that match sucked.

I just watched some of Impact from last week.....with the 4th match in the Beer Money/MCMG series. Why can't WWE have tag team wrestling like this? TNA does a whole lot wrong, but this series is one of the best things going in professional wrestling right now.

The funny thing about the 5th and deciding match of the series is that it's 2/3 falls. So technically isn't this a best of 7 series?

A heads up for anyone interested. Apparently George Lopez is having wrestlers on all week to promote SummerSlam. R Truth was on tonight singing karaoke for some reason and then had Orton. It was kind of weird seeing Orton smile and joke around and talk about his daughter. He has a pretty good personality. Tmw is Otunga and Thursday The Miz is on. Should be awwwweeesooommmee.

I've fallen behind on the current shows, but I've been watching some old Wrestlemanias before going to sleep. Reminded me of the Piledriver album and this amazing song.

So I made a point to watch TNA this week, and actually it was really good. The final match of MCMG/Beer Money was freaking awesome. Top to bottom it was a really, really solid show. My only gripes were that Jeff Hardy's 'open challenge' ended up being answered by Shannon Moore where Hardy seemed only interested in trying (and failing) to put his boy over before winning. My only other problem is this whole ECW vs. Fortune angle.......stop with the old ECW guys.......it's enough already. And how tacky was the shot of RVD lying in that enormous pool of fake blood after Abyss supposedly attacked him with the nail board? It was kind of a letdown to me to end a really solid wrestling show with stupid gimmicks like that.

I agree. The MCMG/Beer Money series came to an awesome end. That was just an awesome series... great matches.

I'll also agree the ending with RVD was silly. It was really silly.
