Beer Money/MCMG was some of the best wrestling I have ever seen. I watched TNA last night as well. Angle/Styles was a solid match to start the show. The women match sucked as usual and the Triple Threat Match was terrible as well. Why are they trying push Shannon Moore? He sucks. The last two matches were great except the fake blood on RVD to end the show.

Anyone watching Summerslam this Sunday? In my opinion, it looks like a pretty weak card.

How many matches are actually booked? 3? 4? I'll watch it online if I'm home.

Another pro wrestler dying at a young age. He had a solid tag team when he teamed up with Trevor Murdoch. RIP Lance!

Anyone know where I can get a torrent of the show?

*edit*
Actually, forget it. I just read the spoilers and have no real interest in seeing it. Apparently the main event is still going on, so maybe I'll change my mind.

If it's the spoiler that was up on WWE.com for a short time, it wasn't right.
Spoiler:
Miz didn't introduce Bryan at all. Team WWE said they couldn't wait for Miz to answer so they picked Danel Bryan themselves... Danielson then came out and was the f'n star of the match. The put him over huge. He got knocked out by Miz after MIz ran in while the ref wasn't looking and smacked him with the MITB briefcase. Perfectly done, and sets up a Bryan/Miz Feud.

The match itself still isn't over, but it's Barrett/Gabriel vs Cena right now.

Nice.
Spoiler:
I'm all for a Miz/Danielson feud. It's what should have happened months ago. But seriously, a no contest and a DQ at a PPV. And at one of the big four, no less? Weak.

Ok that main even was friggin awesome and saved the show minus the ending....
Spoiler:
Cena with his usual Superman comeback routine and making Barrett tap to the STFU. Figured they would try to burn this angle a little bit longer... well they will have to since the "mastermind" was never revealed, but I just think Nexus loses a lot of heat from this. To have the heels get beat like that... just doesn't make sense to me, but ... who knows. Outside of that... that match was booked to perfection. Even Bret didn't look awful for the limited time he was in.

Still Danielson was the star of that match.. F'n awesome.

Spoiler:
Really surprising that nobody turned. A Cena turn is very far fetched, but I'm surprised NOBODY on team WWE turned. When I read Danielson was back, I assumed he'd turn on Cena at some point and rejoin Nexus.

Unreal main event. I like how people say that Cena can't wrestle and yet he was just involved in atleast a 4 star match. The best part of the match to me was the reversal into the cattle mutilation by Bryan Danielson.

I added a bit more to my previous spoiler. I honestly ordered the show because of the last match, so I can't say I was let down. It was pretty much the definition of a one match show, but the last match was booked to perfection minus the ending, IMO.

Cena can wrestle no doubt. He's come light years from when he started,
Spoiler:
I just get tired of the same old superman comeback every match that's all. He got DDT'd on the concrete and was back in a matter of minutes to take out both Gabriel and Barrett. I just think it would have been better to put Nexus over there at the end... and have this stuff build up through the next few PPV's. I mean what's gonna be the selling point for Nexus on the next PPV? It wasn't even a run-in/crazy ending, they lost clean.

Yeah, Nexus definately had more to gain by winning the match. It will be interesting to see how Nexus will get their heat back, it's not like the stable's going to implode and break up after this, atleast I seriously doubt it.

I understand why Vince doesn't want to turn Cena heel, I really do. But his character baaaaadly needs a change. Unfortunately, there is no other clear number one face in the WWE right now. When Austin would go heel, The Rock would be face, and vice-versa. And also, both characters allowed for a heel turn in that their actions would be pretty much the same no matter what "side" they were on. Not to mention merchandise would still sell. I can't see that happening with Cena given how he's been built.

Why develop an intriguing storyline even further (the Nexus) and build their push even more? Nah, instead we're going to *shock* make John Cena the knight in shining armor that saves the day for the good guys again, something we have seen approximately 543 times since 2005. No, I don't think the stable will disintegrate, but a win at SS really would have pushed them over the top as a legitimate threat in the WWE. Instead, we are left with the "no matter how diabolical the bad guys are, we have Cena". Meh...

The Taker/Kane bit was cool, however.

Im sorry, but that was one of the worst PPV's I have ever seen other than the main event match. Hardcore Justice was better than Summerslam and that is saying alot. Summerslam is supposed to be one of the top 4 WWE PPV's of the year and they failed incredibly.

It was the definition of a one match show. The main even made that PPV, because the rest of it was pretty bad. I don't agree Hardcore Justice was better though.. that didn't even have a main event to make up for the rest of the awful show.

As a Summerslam though... yes it was very weak. I still feel I got my money's worth though just because of how awesome the main event was.

My analysis on a couple things based on last nights results:

I think that the SES is breaking up or at least Gallos is leaving after the way CM Punk abandoned his team at the end of the match.

The Randy Orton - Sheamus feud will continue since Randy technically won. Their next match will be non-DQ match. I have a feeling that at some point Sheamus is going to reveal that the reason the Nexus entered into a truce with him is that Sheamus offered to give Barrett a title shot after Summerslam. Also, I have no idea why the Miz didn't run down and try to cash in the MIB after Orton laid out Sheamus. Maybe that will be explained on RAW.

As for the Nexus match, what is the explanation for Daniel Bryan hating Nexus? Are they saying that Nexus didn't include them in their group?

If there is a Bryan-Miz fued, I can see the Miz losing the US title to Bryan if the Miz is going to win the WWE title.

I can also see Nexus gaing extra heat by attacking Brett Hart and putting him out of action for an extended time again, because I can't see Brett appearing on RAW regularly.

Wasn't the kayfabe explanation for Danielson's disappearance that the Nexus kicked him out for basically feeling bad about what they did to Cena?
