I tend to somewhat agree with Josh. If you have Joe Montana behind a bunch of shmucks he isn't going to be very good.Member wrote:Josh Miller said yesterday that it was more important to have a very good offensive line over an elite quarterback.

Count kenny the kangaroo as a josh miller fan. He's a little bit refreshing compared to a lot of what you hear on the radio

that's lame...the only thing slightly amusing about it is the fact that this person might exist.

Yeah, I think she actually believes that she has a shot with Gianotti, it's kind've sad that she's that delusional, unless she realizes that the jokes on her.PghSkins wrote:I believe she may actually think Gianotti is going to marry her.

If I was better at Photoshop I would take a movie poster from "Carrie," put an old lady's head on the girl, and change the text to "Lily!"
'Cause that's how I see this ending.
But I am no good at Photoshop.

I really don't like their morning show anymore. GG in and JB out isn't working for me. The flow is just way too clumpy and it seems like no one's really sure what they're supposed to do.

Lots of drama behind the scenes there. None of the two-man teams get along very well. Alexander's ego was bruised because they told him that Giannotti would now "drive" the morning show.

That station is going to implode and it's going to be fascinating.Marshall Dylan wrote:Lots of drama behind the scenes there. None of the two-man teams get along very well. Alexander's ego was bruised because they told him that Giannotti would now "drive" the morning show.

The whole "Morning Pre-Show" at 5:45 just seems way out of place. I liked Mueller in that spot and the hand-off worked so much better.
I also keep thinking/hoping that once real sports resume - football and hockey in this tahn - things will pick up and sort themselves out.

Starkey sometimes seems embarrassed by Seibel, and Cook probably couldn't work with anyone.Marshall Dylan wrote:Lots of drama behind the scenes there. None of the two-man teams get along very well. Alexander's ego was bruised because they told him that Giannotti would now "drive" the morning show.
I found out personally about Alexander's ego when I waved to my friends viewing at home, from behind the window during an FSN Pens postgame show. Jay took it in stride. Paul didn't.

I like Giannotti though--his Cook impression is pretty good.

They say some TV anchors have a face for radio....well, Ron Cook has a voice for newspapers.imau2fan wrote:Starkey sometimes seems embarrassed by Seibel, and Cook probably couldn't work with anyone.Marshall Dylan wrote:Lots of drama behind the scenes there. Re: 93.7 The Fan Now On
Anyone can do sports talk radio in this city in the heart of football and hockey season. It takes actual skill to do it in the quiet months, and that's something these guys don't have.Eismann wrote:The whole "Morning Pre-Show" at 5:45 just seems way out of place. Rhetorical question directed at no one in particular: why do people who really suck always have the biggest egos?Marshall Dylan wrote:Alexander's ego was bruised because they told him that Giannotti would now "drive" the morning show.

Re: 93.7 The Fan Now On
Why would you want it to implode? An all sports-talk station with all local shows / hosts is great for the Pittsburgh sports fan. They do have some personnel issues to work out, and need to tweak a number of things, but by no means should any Pittsburgh sports fan want them to implode.EagleMorph wrote:That station is going to implode and it's going to be fascinating.Marshall Dylan wrote:Lots of drama behind the scenes there. Well they have to over compensate for something at least. I don't know how you guys think Alexander stinks, he's golfed on countless courses, met unreal celebs, and his joking charm is out of this world....wallflower wrote:Rhetorical question directed at no one in particular: why do people who really suck always have the biggest egos?Marshall Dylan wrote:Alexander's ego was bruised because they told him that Giannotti would now "drive" the morning show.
