Jagr was still pretty on the puck during his last season.offsides wrote:Can't be any worse than Kovalev.
I'm sure someone will quibble with that, but I think he could contribute.

Money is going to talk. Even we extended an offer to him, it couldn't even pay off his small blind in most places.

I'd imagine that's what Dagny is going to do when she reads the news.

Re: Penguins want Jagr back?!
I think this is just for the golf thing, this article does not mention anything about him playing for us again, or the penguins wanting him to play hockey. That's not to say that I wouldn't sign him if he wanted, though.

I bet you that powerplay is still better than the ones the Pens fielded in the play-offs this year.mac5155 wrote:well, duh. if that's the case, the pens want Mario, Barrasso, Francis, Stevens, Bourque, etc back tooFallenHero96 wrote:I think this is just for the golf thing, this article does not mention anything about him playing for us again, or the penguins wanting him to play hockey. Re: Penguins want Jagr back?!
Well, you kind of should expect that now with the way the team is set up. Which fading star is going to pitch in and not be old for a year?tonysoprano wrote:If it isn't one fading star, it's another.
