How is it that Rossi is in touch with the Jagr camp when Shero hasn't been able to contact him for almost a year?

Jagr's hat trick has eliminated the US of A from the World Cup tourney. He's still got it.

On an olympic ice surface vs. a bunch of non playoff players and no goaltending. I guess that's something.

Also, love the mixed metaphor from Bill Clement. "The one man band...(oh **** how do I finish this)...is in the big top...(uh that wasn't it)...Jaromir Jagr."

Why would anyone not want Jagr back if the price is right? He is a big upgrade over almost all of our wingers and would be highly motivated to have one more chance at a Stanley Cup while making things right in Pittsburgh again for himself.

Does anyone really think that if the Big Guy would place a call to 68, that this could not happen?

July 1st would mean no waivers. His contract with the KHL is up.

It just means that Rossi pitched a tent and wanted the world to know.

One thing Jagr showed today is that although he may be 39, he's still got those great hands. :thumb:

heck, plan the party now! Seriously, the penguins run by a different culture, the Sid Crosby country club is much different than the Mario country club.
Jaromir was the last great wing the penguins had! (Mario as wing doesn't count)

Somebody with Twitter needs to ask Rob if he really thinks Jagr would be willing to relocate to Kansas City just to play with the Penguins again.
