I don't really care if he returns but that article absolutely indicates that the pens were trying to sign him.
It really doesn't.
This isn't something were going to agree on.
That's fine. I just don't see one place in that article where Rossi "absolutely indicates" the Pens are attempting to sign Jagr.

He certainly wanted a discussion like this to happen.
That I don't have a problem with. The Pens have a hole at RW. Jagr is and RW, and a very good one still. I think he could cure the powerplay as well. If Rossi's intent was to plant a seed, I hope it grows.

Noooo way he signs with the Isles. While I actually think the Isles are gonna be a threat in a few years, if Jagr is gonna come back to North America, you can bet your *** that he's coming to an immediate contender. Eklund(yeah I know...) stated that four teams were currently looking into Jagr: Isles, Oilers, Habs and the Pens. If there is ANY truth to this, the only teams that really make sense are the Habs and Pens. The Habs need more offense and Jagr could be the player that takes them over the top. The Habs are a scoring threat away from being a true contender.

Teams I could see Jagr going to if the cap permits would be the Pens, Habs, Wings, Kings and Sabres...maybe even Nashville or Anaheim.

EDIT: Totally just realized you said "maximum" and that you were making a funny lol

Say, speaking of the KHL, you know who they should REALLY be trying to sign?

He'll re-sign in Anaheim if anywhere, anyway. As much as I'd love to have the guy.

Many here keep comparing him with Kovalev, this is what I have to say: Kovy has never played as well as Jagr in his prime and Jagr has never played this poorly as Kovy is right now

So bring him on!

Selanne's production is incredible. Only played 73 games this season with 80 points/31 goals.

Who is the best player not playing in the NHL? Temp-ban for anyone that says Crosby.
