WBS signs Ekbom to ATO
Wilkes-Barre/Scranton has signed D Viktor Ekbom to an ATO, according to the team's official website. Ekbom was a sixth-round draft pick of the Pens in 2009 and has spent the past three seasons with Linkopings in the Swedish Elite League.

He's a solid meh, but it was bizarre seeing a point d-man wearing 55 in WBS. Especially when he scored at a game a couple weeks ago on a slapper from the point.
