Re: Racchi's rug
Sorry Joose but I have to add something...
I've been annoyed by Recchi in recent years but I'm a fan again. I love the way he went out. Not just winning the Cup but saying "I'm going to retire, win or lose." And then after the game he said "I'm done." No pissing around all off-season. He grabbed the Cup, said "**** yeah!" on national television, and skated off into the sunset.

I understand the OP, I just don't understand the point of the OP. Like was it supposed to be a bad joke? Or was he legitimately asking if Racchi wore a toupee?

I know... it would probably require some hard knocks on the head for me to concoct something as unintelligible as the original post.columbia wrote:Dan H wrote:does mark recchi cover his bald head off the ice with the stanley cup and then on the ice when it flips off his other two stanley cups are exposed ala joe sakic skating by an insanely jealous alex ovechkin who tried to punch him in the face

His rug will be traded to the Leafs for a hairpiece to be named later.

How many Cups would Mark Messier have won if he had worn Racchi's rug?

Re: Racchi's rug
Racchi can't let his rug go. With a future in broadcasting almost certain, he'll need it on camera.

Now that he's retired, does this get moved to NHR?

Since Racchi is a former hockey player anything he or his rug do will forever be considered NPR.DocEmrick wrote:Now that he's retired, does this get moved to NHR?

Re: Racchi's rug
Not certain, but I believe Recchi still lives in Pittsburgh during the off-season, having married a Pittsburgh girl. Does anybody know which community? Do you think he will bring the Cup here during his day with it? Do you even want it here when it's not celebrating a Pens' championship? I'm okay with it as long as his team did not beat the Pens in the finals, like Lucic possibly taking the Cup back to his hometown of Vancouver.
