I had a Paulaner Hefe-Weissbier Naturtrub tonight for the first time. Very nice taste, as well as aftertaste. Could be my new favorite wheat beer.

Re: GIVE ME YOUR BEER SUGGESTIONS!!
there are a few "delis" around that sell them. theres one on penn ave in garfield, one on mellon st in Highland Park. theres also a gas station on I70 I stopped at once before on my way to Cal U.columbia wrote:There used to be a 7-Eleven in Friendship that sold beer.
You could buy a 40 and sit down at a table in the back and drink it.....It's the only convenience store in PA that I've been to, that had alcohol.
Not sure if it's still there.

Had Southampton Publick House Double White last night and today. Very good Belgian-style white ale. It's bottled in Latrobe too, which I wasn't aware of.

Wit-o-maker from Rivertowne
solid wheat beer, stronger alcohol wise than most of the wits I've had

I just had a wheat at Rivertowne this weekend. White Lightning or something? It was pretty good, ~6% wit I think.

Had a Terrapin Rye Pale Ale yesterday.. been a while since I had one on tap. So tasty...
Also, "Full Pint" is a quality local emerging brewing company. Lots of good stuff.

Damn it. I had been happily buying Unibroue (a very expensive brew, as you all know) at Wegman's because they were including it in their "Create your own six pack" deal. They finally realized that they were getting fleeced on it, and you can no longer get that brew with your six pack.

Re: GIVE ME YOUR BEER SUGGESTIONS!!
Heavy on local breweries. I've heard really good things about Voodoo Brewery in Meadville, Sprague Farms was also pretty good. I had a bad experience at North Country, but i'm willing to give those Slippery Rock jerkoffs another chance some time in the future.
Southern Tier and Bells would be the highlights for me though.
