The sad part is I think that story might be from the more civilized Fayette.
Mac will have to confirm that....after he gets back from the rally.

The area around Ohiopyle is beautiful and quite enjoyable, my experiences beyond that in Fayette County have been minimal besides one time I stayed in Chalk Hill for a few days (I remember the hotel had a big lake with a bike trail around it, and I saw a snake and ran over it)Troy Loney wrote:The sad part is I think that story might be from the more civilized Fayette.

Chalk hill is a nice area. Very sceneic. That bike trail will take you north to Pittsburgh or south to DC. 240 miles I believe to DC from Ohiopyleshafnutz05 wrote:The area around Ohiopyle is beautiful and quite enjoyable, my experiences beyond that in Fayette County have been minimal besides one time I stayed in Chalk Hill for a few days (I remember the hotel had a big lake with a bike trail around it, and I saw a snake and ran over it)Troy Loney wrote:The sad part is I think that story might be from the more civilized Fayette.

Oh...so that's west of the city. They wouldn't even get any Fayette run off over there.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brownsville,_PA" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;Founded about the same time, industrious bustling Brownsville early on easily eclipsed both by size and dynamism the nearby city of Pittsburgh until well into the 1850s when the Railways through to Kanesville, Iowa in the Midwest left Pittsburgh with the better transportation system, and made Kanesville the newest and best gateway city to the far west. Brownsville's Flat Boats couldn't cross Nebraska, Wyoming and the Continental divide either, but by 1869 the trains could.

Grindstone has more hustle and bustle than B-ville. I hated playing B-ville in football. We actually got shot at one year leaving their field in Redstone.
