If we're talking about grammar, what about professional journalists/columnists using double negatives in articles? "it's not that I don't have a problem with that"

Driving advice from a New Yorker?
Tell me you're kidding me?
NY drivers think it's OK to blow through a red light if it's only been red for less than 5 seconds.
NY is the only place I've ever lived where, when traffic backs up, the lane that moves the fastest is the right-most lane.

People, primarily journalists, asking themselves questions then answering them.

He opened my eyes to how fast one could get through Pittsburgh traffic if you used NYC driving habits. I agree. It especially bothers me when a coach challenges the call because of this: Way to screw your team over twice WR/TE/SB/RB.Sam's Drunk Dog wrote:When football players overly sell making a catch when it's obvious the ball hit the ground.

Re: Your irrational pet peeves
While coming into work today (yes, on a Sunday), I almost hit a moron driving the wrong way in my parking garage. It was probably someone leaving early from the Stillers game. Look, when there are arrows on the pavement all pointing only one way, and every parking spot in the garage is clearly angled in a certain direction, and you are driving in the opposite direction of both the arrows and the angled spaces, you are driving the wrong way. Open your eyes and get a clue.
