America was a different place in the late 40's and early 50's. The prior generations had suffered through the depression, had fought in WWII, but this new generation was coming of age in prosperity. They had extra cash to spend on records and time to socialize. These teenagers where born in to a "Golden Age".
Well this Alan Freed befriended a local Cleveland record store owner named Leo Mintz. Leo and Alan noticed white teenagers buying rhythm and blues records. On July 11th 1951 Alan Freed began a new show on the radio, calling himself "Moon Dog" he began to play what he called "Rock n Roll".

So... we have this new Genre, and it's getting quite the following. We need to elect a "Rock N Roll Critic" someone who will have the ability to "lead".
Today, no one is eliminated, everyone gets to play. Put your votes in this thread as to who you want to elect as your "Rock and Roll Critic"... careful though, choose wisely, as the person you choose will carry a special responsibility.
