Re: Rock N Roll Warz Game Thread
Huh, well I guess I screwed this one up. My comment is a direct result of laziness/some stuff coming up the past couple days and, as a result, just not following the game as closely as I should be. I think it is obvious that everyone is going to have a name, I guess what I missed was that redwill (and apparently all standard blues) don't know just who they are. My misconception really didn't have anything to do with insider knowledge I may have from the PMs that I've received.
Oh well, now that you think I have a role, I can tell you that I am green. My role is what I guess you would call an angel role, though its a non-standard angel role. An attempt was made to recruit me on the first night. Unfortunately, in order to fend off that recruit, I had to use my lone self-protect. So, I'm sitting here pretty naked right now. Sorry.
I will say, I don't know why anyone is assuming rel is whoever because of lyrics that he's been using. If he is, it was a vague role claim at best, which isn't very helpful for the village. If anything, I think that rel is red. My other best guess is Malk. The best clue we have is trying to ID someone who would try to recruit me on Night 1. I, unfortunately, don't have too many ideas on that front. The best I can recall is that I've previously been recruited by ulf, rel, and nan maybe (maybe I recruited him?), and maybe MWB.
I believe that the reds in the game are going to be inanimate things like alcohol, cocaine, and the like. I'm not sure exactly how a vig role would work in the game. Wish I had more to offer, but I think that's everything I've got.

Re: Rock N Roll Warz Game Thread
I'm not assuming rel is who he says he is. I'm just not willing to knock him off yet in case he does.
There are inconsistencies with rel though. He wasn't ALWAYS speaking in lyrics. So that's why I didn't move off him right away. He has plenty of early posts that weren't Zepplin lyrics.
Do you have a name Kraftster? Also, it seems weird you would be green with only 1 protection.

Is it possible that rel opened a package?

Gooooood Mooooooorrrrrnnnnning. EL-GE-PEE!
I see that you all partied pretty hard last night, lots of broken furniture and empty bottles laying around...
We're still waiting for a couple of PM's, believe it or not, but I'm sure we'll get started shortly.

Re: Rock N Roll Warz Game Thread
So... Radio stations everywhere are playing this new Rock N Roll! Doo-oop, Rock-a-Billy, rumblings from MoTown, surf sounds from (Brooklyn?)
, sounds out of the South from Booker T and the MG's. Rock is everywhere!
Meanwhile in England, the roots of the Blues have taken hold in the new post-war generation. Young white kids everywhere are buying guitars and playing Chuck Berry, Elmore James and Buddy Holly songs... nowhere is that influence stronger than a bunch of lads from an Art College in Liverpool.
One of the "lads" left the band to attend an "Art Programme" in Hamburg, unfortunately, on April 10th 1962, he passed away for a brain aneurysm.

I'm sick again at the thought that SDD sang the blues just as good as rock and roll; they said we're gonna groove but it's wearing and tearing on me.

Re: Rock N Roll Warz Game Thread
So... Night three is over and Rock is moving into the middle part of the 1960's.
The English Invasion is happening! Rolling Stones, The Beatles, The Animals, Manfred Mann, Wayne Fontana and the Mindbenders, Herman's Hermits, The Troggs, and Donovan all had one or more number one singles. Also The Kinks and The Dave Clark Five figured prominently on the airwaves.
Much of what was happening in the rock world was written about in magazines like Rolling Stone.
Alas, Even those that cover RnR aren't invincible or immortal.
Last night, Jane Scott, the long time super RnR critic for the Cleveland Plain dealer passed away.

I feel decent about booing relantel.
The more I think about that other game where he was red, the more similar this behavior is to that game.
