Rumour is that Johnstown will be the next home of the Nailers. This scenario was told to me 2 years ago and it is playing out as I was told. Mario has his hands on this. We shall see.

I can confirm that Johnstown will NOT be the next home of the Nailers.

Re: Is hockey dead in Wheeling?
It was $1 beer night when I went to the Nailers game back in November. Yuenglings for a $1. 8 ounce cups, limit 2 to a customer. Per purchase. So you can go back and buy more. But it only is available until the end of the first intermission.mac5155 wrote:$1 beer night at Wheeling tomorrow. Anyone going?

I feel your pain and 1$ beers today won't ease it, as hockey leaves town. The economy and demographics have killed alot of good hockey towns.
