i also have zero interest in getting married. after being in my friend's wedding this summer (the first time ive been in one since i was a kid) i have even less interest in having a wedding than i do in being married. sounds like a problem for another thread though.
in closing, my free photography offer stands.

Down payments are all finished, that's a good feeling. Now it's just about paying them the rest of the money.

Re: Wedding Planning Thread
Same here. I just started my spreadsheet today. I feel like I'm doing more planning than she is but I guess that's ok because I'll be sure not to go buck on spending. I feel good about where we're at money-wise at the moment.Pavel Bure wrote:Down payments are all finished, that's a good feeling. Now it's just about paying them the rest of the money.

Because stores never have my size, just ordered 3 expensive bridesmaids dresses online. My credit card is hurting at the moment... Helping my mom plan this wedding is difficult. Makes me want to have a tiny wedding.

my wife has a million people on her side of the family. we said screw it, invited close friends and immediate family only, did a pseudo destination wedding with about 30 guests. we not only saved a ton of money, but also had a great time. so did everyone else. if an aunt or whatever gets bent out of shape about it, she can suck a lemon.
