lol what does that have to do with anything?mac5155 wrote:cause it's 8:13 AM where it's being played?Ossa wrote:Why is there no TV coverage right now? Re: LGP Golf Thread
I understand there is a ton of TV coverage. But Tiger, Bubba, and Phil are already thru 3 holes, and not one has been shown on TV. I just find it odd that they'll start showing it at noon, when the group will be done with the first half of the course by the time TV coverage begins.shafnutz05 wrote:There is actually a ton of TV coverage for this tournament. Today and tomorrow, 12 PM to 10 PM. Saturday and Sunday, 4-10 PM. Starts on ESPN3 (online) at 11:30 AM. Only really missing an hour and a half out of 12 hours of golf.Ossa wrote:Why is there no TV coverage right now? Yeah, it kind of stinks that they went out first thing in the morning.

Man, it's still early, but Bubba (and especially Phil) struggling bad so far. Phil has three bogies through three holes.
Going into this tournament, out of those three, I definitely expected Tiger to have the best outing.
Edit: If the early first-day leaderboard is any indication, this course is going to be a monster this week.

Do they already announce when Tiger/Phil and the like are going out tmw? I'd love to plan my golf outting around that and sit in the clubhouse watching them all afternoon.

That 14 year old shot 10 over par. Bubba Watson shot 8 over.

That course looks brutal. How is anyone under par let alone someone at -4. Dang what a round.

Thompson did it with a lot of smoke and mirrors. Only 22 putts is ridiculous anywhere, let alone the US Open, and it's not sustainable. I'd put money on him shooting at least a 75 tomorrow.Grunthy wrote:That course looks brutal. How is anyone under par let alone someone at -4. Dang what a round.

Re: LGP Golf Thread
That whole group is a mess right now. But has Donald ever been in contention on a Sunday in a major? I don't believe he has. For someone who is a terrific ball striker with his irons, he comes up embarrassingly small in majors.shafnutz05 wrote:Luke Donald +9. Until he does something in a major he is a total pretender to me
