Current vote count:
3 - relantel - (newarenanow, Rylan, columbia)
2 - thehockeyguru - (ulf, MWB)
1 - Pen48guins - (Sam's Drunk Dog)
1 - shafnutz05 - (Troy Loney)
9 to lynch. No deadline as yet.
I certainly don't mind the slowness of the pace. I'm having a heckuva hard time today getting on the board and staying on.

Ok, my two cents from day one so far:
Shaf: it caught my eye that you mentioned a red 'see'. Reds typically don't have a see in standard games, at least not by my recollection. So for you to jump to that conclusion makes me think you're privy to some extra information.
MWB: I hate doing this against you, but your post seem more whimsical than usual. You're warz persona is typically more reserved and analytical, yet you're talking at night, voting with little explaination, and the through a vote on THG after he praised himself for being a red hound.
Still nothing great for me to vote on here, and I'm not crazy about any of the current candidates.

It definitely reads to me that there was either a recruit, or a longterm infected type.

If I'm going to talk at night, it's going to be whimsical. Just ready to play again after a layoff. I don't like how thg plays.

Observations are good. Just thought I'd explain myself a little.
The ruination of these games is lack of participation. When someone comes out and says they won't talk the first couple of days I think it does a disservice to the village. As tactically sound as it may be to sit back and observe, it's tactically sound whether the player is good or bad.

Agreed MWB. Hence my war against silence, a problem I myself created when I first started playing.
But right now, there aren't even enough votes casted to eliminate anyone yet. So, its just a waiting game.

Why PB? There are many who haven't posted, including one who has already got a vote.

Re: *** THE LORDS OF HELL Game Thread ***
Not sure how it reads exactly, but we need to get some info out there to spur discussion. After the first night phase I was given the ability to PM another player in the game. Was basically told that neither of us know what the other is. I assume this is Redwill's way of getting people to talk a bit so I'm going to oblige.Rylan wrote:It definitely reads to me that there was either a recruit, or a longterm infected type.
Since no one else has mentioned it I am curious if everyone is just being quiet or if our PM's were an isolated situation.

He's usually talking up a storm. So you have the quiet aspect coupled with "atypical" play. My runner up was obhave.MWB wrote:Why PB? There are many who haven't posted, including one who has already got a vote.

I feel better about my vote. Why the need to defend and tell us that after 2 votes on you thg?

Re: *** THE LORDS OF HELL Game Thread ***
I don't need to defend, I'm just telling the truth and was curious if everyone in the game was paired up, if this was random, or if I was selected. Being blue I don't see any way that this could help me or the person I can PM. We are too small of a group to swing the vote and don't have any powers.ulf wrote:I feel better about my vote. New? Sounds like masons if it's true. Generally no power but to talk with another.

The way thg is describing it is not a typical mason though.MWB wrote:New? Sounds like masons if it's true. Generally no power but to talk with another.

Mason's get that distinction at the beginning of the game and are Green. This happened after the first night phase.MWB wrote:New? Sounds like masons if it's true. Generally no power but to talk with another.

@thg
We're you just notified of this and you could pick someone or were you assigned another player, and you both could initiate PM-ing with one another?

I was assigned the other player. I was told that I could now talk to that person via PM. There was an emphasis on neither of us knowing the others allegiance.columbia wrote:@thg

Not typical mason, true, but same basic idea. And I believe we've had every combination of color with people who can talk.Troy Loney wrote:The way thg is describing it is not a typical mason though.MWB wrote:New? Sounds like masons if it's true. Generally no power but to talk with another.
I, for one, don't have a partner.
