Everyone has a character, so there's not going to be any tie between what character is which role. That would just make the game predictable.shafnutz05 wrote:I'm going to tell you right now, CBear is lying. For starters, if I were fake role-claiming the vig, I would not pick a character that I would assume SOMEONE else in the village has to have. It would be something much more obscure.

Let's see
overly sensitive about a random when he gets heat day 1
Gets heat on day 2 and claims Vig in a game so small its hard to believe
Oh yeah, and somebody wrote Chief Wiggum in my underwear (metaphorically)
So I'm either wearing shaf's, or he's lying.

That's fine. After rereading his post analyzing the random.com list he seemed to just be trying to cast doubt on several people.

I think he's saying he's Wiggum, but not a vig. With no kill 2 nights in a row we can afford this.MWB wrote:That would be scenario B. So if you're the vig, why not just take care of him tonight?CBear3 wrote:Or could he be as careless to be C, but [/list]went too far and actually claimed a character somebody else had
I'm going with CBear3 on this one - but if he's wrong, he has to be next.

Nope, that would say I'm the vig, which I'm not. He couldn't just claim that he was only Chief Wiggum, he has to claim a green role to stay alive. So I'm guessing he's really somebody like Burns, but couldn't claim being Burns and the vig because that would counter to the plot.MWB wrote:That would be scenario B. Not to worry MWB. One of shaf / CBear3 has to be lying and therefore red. We either got shaf or we'll get CBear next day phase.

Yeah, I guess.... just something doesn't add up here. Shaf either wasn't paying attention or made an extremely careless move as a red. Unusual for him. If he is red I don't think we want to necessarily let Cbear off for the rest of the game.

Absolutely agree. Shaf's innocence would prove CBear's guilt, but shaf's guilt wouldn't prove CBear's innocence.MWB wrote:If he is red I don't think we want to necessarily let Cbear off for the rest of the game.

Had a defense written up but our network has been out for 45 minutes. Good luck village...I knew I was doomed as soon as WK posted that random vote. Recommend going after CBear next round.

Re: Simpson Warz Game Thread
For years the two biggest businesses in Springfield had been the nuclear power plant and the Duff Brewery. The people of Springfield loved the brewery and treated it's owner as a king even though the brewery was a bigger polluter than the power plant.
Although Mr. Burns had no love for the people of Springfield, his jealously of the Duff Brewery grew each year. When he heard that the owner of the brewery had fallen on hard times, he knew he had the chance to take the brewery down once and for all. After the sale had finalized and the doors of the brewery were shuttered, Mr. Burns went into hiding.
But the pitchfork mob finally realized that Mr. Burns had to be behind the sale, and they knew a man of his wealth wouldn't be hiding in too many places. They tracked him down, and saw through his crude attempt to disguise himself as Chief Wiggum. In a rage the mob made short work of him, and he was dead.

Re: Simpson Warz Game Thread
I'm thinking the first three nights are no kills since the game is so small. I'm also very, very suspicious of Cbear. Shaf knew he was on the block and would continue to be. The best play for the reds would be to try to clear one of their own as he went down. That "claim" by shaf was a little too easy.
