Re: *** Inception Warz *** Game Thread
it was definitely a save on me. good work angel.
a red claiming vig is nothing new, kraftster. it's the easiest claim to make as sometimes there isn't even a vig to dispute it. greens can't talk to one another, so there's no way for anyone to know that the vig claim isn't legit except for the vig themself. in this case it worked against columbia as SDD got an investigation on him. I'm curious as to why the reds haven't tried to kill SDD though. Probably figuring that the angel would save him last night so they took a shot at me? which makes me wonder how the angel decided to save me instead. good work though!

Re: *** Inception Warz *** Game Thread
I'm not suggesting its new, I just think it made the least amount of sense for a red in columbia's spot to claim vig as opposed to angel, or even seer. Your point that there is sometimes not even a vig to dispute it further cements in my mind that canaan is red. I don't recall columbia ever stating that the Assassin was the vig. So, canaan knew the plan to claim Assassin and assisted in pushing us in the direction of viewing it as a vig claim.

The sign-up thread said that "The Assassin can assassinate any part of the Target's mind". Pretty clearly a vig role.Kraftster wrote:I don't recall columbia ever stating that the Assassin was the vig. Been swamped at work this morning. The person I looked up last night came back blue. I am willing to share the name with you since I believe the reds may have already made a recruit since the other night there was no kill and the write up didn't mention a save, but last night there was no kill and a save was mentioned. I am little hesistant though to reveal this person since I am not 100% confident the reds have no recuits remaining. Let me know what you think.

i dont think doc would nerf your role by not at least giving some sort of weird response on your investigation. that being said, its not 100% true. the recruit angle is definitely a possibility. in other games, ive seen the baddies only being able to kill on certain nights (odds/evens). i kinda had that feeling, but was waiting until what transpired on the next night phase to see if that is the case.Sam's Drunk Dog wrote:Been swamped at work this morning. what? the write-up specifically mentioned Cobb. There's also Arthur in the write-up. Or did you mean past those three (including Eames)Kaizer wrote:i dont think there is anymore red characters from the movie in the game.

lol, why is Pavel all over my ish this game? That is his third post of the ENTIRE thread. I'm actually starting to get convinced this is part of his role in this game, to be honest.

Ah, I had forgotten that that thread provided some information. Interestingly, the Security Agent (SDD) is not mentioned in that thread.Willie Kool wrote:The sign-up thread said that "The Assassin can assassinate any part of the Target's mind". True, and part of why I don't completely trust SDD, but there was this - "Other roles or parts of the subconscious may come into play at any time during the game."Kraftster wrote:Ah, I had forgotten that that thread provided some information. Re: *** Inception Warz *** Game Thread
sorry i've been absent, seems like the last two nights i have a chance to catch up just as you guys reached a vote limit - also, not the easiest game to follow due to it's plot intricacies.
as for the game: i actually didnt think columbia was bad and was going to speak against his vote. But after seeing the result, i love a canaan vote. I completely agree with kraft that his reasoning on columbia seemed weak, and now smells like a ploy to gain credibility with the village.
re: the baddies killing or not on certain nights, it seems that there have been several time references in the write ups. I think the reds must have some sort of ability to narrow down their search for the target. And may be able to kill or use that ability.

vanquish Benny Fitz
For a couple of reasons. He made some weird posts earlier in the game (like the "Who kills ulf?" one, which is unlike him). I think he is barking up a bizarre tree with canaan. Canaan was pushing hard for columbia right from the start yesterday. Columbia has (had) an extremely valuable power for the reds that threw us off in a big way. It wouldn't make any sense for canaan to sacrifice columbia "to gain favor".
BF has just been off this game, IMO.

I tend to agree with this. SDD, if making a false claim and giving us columbia after he lost his power, would have had little to lose and much to gain.shafnutz05 wrote:Columbia has (had) an extremely valuable power for the reds that threw us off in a big way. ha - i dont think the post was weird at all. True, maybe unlike me, but seriosly, what kind of reds in a game like this, look around the table and go "you know who we need to get out of the way? ....Ulf."
AND
What kind of angel sees SDD come out and saves C2i?
AND
Shaf you've been participating a lot, which is typical, but if there was anyone who you 'hitch'd your wagon' to this game, it's been redwill. When i was catching up last night, i could have sworn that you were obligated to post within 3 mins of a redwill post, or vise-versa. look for yourself...
