@Froggy
I was thinking the same thing about the horror aspect, when they got into the basement area.
What a great way to spend an hour of my life. I loved it.

Re: Walking Dead - Season 3
I would say the main time to use spoiler tags is if you are going to reference spoilers from the comics or whatnot... and those should be labeled as such. Maybe any theories on what is going to happen would apply as well...
As for the episode... Hell yes.

Re: Walking Dead - Season 3
Hopefully they will find a way to mix the action and the character development stuff better this season. This episode was pure awesome, but I am still cautious after the way Season 2 bogged down during the first half (and then exploded into awesome for far too few episodes at the end). That would really be my main criticism of the show so far.

Re: Walking Dead - Season 3
Way more pumped for this season. I thought a lot of the intensity played off like the herd in episode 1 last year.
All in all, a very good start to a very promising season.

Re: Walking Dead - Season 3
the way i would've approached the prison if i were in their shoes was to seal off an area and eradicate that lot. stand from one side of the fence and eliminate the lot. it seems like they started that way and then got away from it. aggro a herd and run back to the check point (where the women/children are) and go hand-to-hand until no more come.
i might have missed the dialogue that would defeat this idea (i think they said something along the lines of plain-clothed walkers which would entail a breach of some sort).

Re: Walking Dead - Season 3
Does anyone know why the black women has those two armless zombies on chains ;leading them around. When I first saw them I thought she was using them like watchdogs or something to detect other walkers. Later in the episode she seemed to have them carrying stuff on their backs. Is she using them like pack mules? I don't get what their function is supposed to be.

Their stench of death throws off other zombies, who are less likely to attack her as a result.

Re: Walking Dead - Season 3
Comic book explains it. But basically it should be explained here in the next few episodes. But it helps her blend in as well as reasons that I don't know since I didn't read the comics.
But, apparently Carl is a total badass in the comics and that makes me want to read them now.

i don't think "Herschell Walker" has gotten enough attention herecanaan wrote:i laughed more than i should have...and im still smirking.Froggy wrote:looks like Herschell Walker might show up in episode 2
anyways...good episode, but too expensive for AMC to keep churning out ones like this.
also, the rule should be:
-spoiler anything from the comics
-talk freely about anything that's aired

Re: Walking Dead - Season 3
in the interest of full disclosure, i did not think of "Herschel Walker" myself. blatantly stole it from a walking dead parody video. still funny, thoughshmenguin wrote:i don't think "Herschell Walker" has gotten enough attention herecanaan wrote:i laughed more than i should have...and im still smirking.Froggy wrote:looks like Herschell Walker might show up in episode 2
