Re: mac5155's tales from Fayettenam
Depends on what you're looking for, I prefer Grille 31. Full salad bar, good soups, and nice dinner. However Leo's has awesome Burgers (burger night is on Monday and Tuesday, last I was there its $5.95 for a burger and fries, and they have some awesome combinations). Grille 31 is more of a restaurant with dinner choices, Leo's has more bar fare and a better sandwich/burger selection.

Is it culture or easy gun availability (to knuckleheads) in this case?ExPatriatePen wrote:Arrest warrants obtained for 3 from Brownsville in Fayette County bar shooting

Politically incorrect to expect people to be responsible for their own actions. Please blame the next available inanimate object.mac5155 wrote:Id say its alcohol.Sarcastic wrote:Is it culture or easy gun availability (to knuckleheads) in this case?ExPatriatePen wrote:Arrest warrants obtained for 3 from Brownsville in Fayette County bar shooting

Glad to see some conspiracy charges here... that is one of those 'multiplier' offenses that gives the charges some teeth. Hope these guys get 100 years for being drunk and stupid.

if there is one place that I would expect to see The Country Store, it's in Fayettenam.
I think I'd be more surprised if there was only one in the entire county.

Seriously never heard of a cash bash?slappybrown wrote:What is a "cash bash"?Nuge wrote:Cash bash at New Salem firehall. Good lord it doesn't get anymore fayettenam than this.
You pay (usually) $10 to get in the door. Your ticket has a 3 digit number on it. Its at a fireman's hall or the like. Free beer, free food, and every 15 minutes they give away cash drawings by calling lottery style numbers. Its usually like $300-$500 per prize. Then the last prize is usually like $1,000.
