The Day 1 vote at the time it was halted:MWB wrote:The slappy kill may have been triggered by something else. If a red reached a certain number of day one votes, that may have triggered an auto kill of the next highest vote getter. In a small game there may be only two reds, and this would help sustain the game. How many votes did pavel have?
PB - 4 - slappy, columbia, LITT, tfrizz
MRandall - 3 - shaf, rel, CBear
slappy - 2 - SDD, canaan
LITT - 1 - PFiDC
rel - 1 - PHF79
PFiDC - 1 - PB

I don't like how he called Excalibur itself into question in his own defense.

Why waste a night phase on a burn notice when you could be trying to figure out who the reds are?Willie Kool wrote:I don't like how he called Excalibur itself into question in his own defense.

So possible connection with PB and slappy there, since slappy was the first vote on PB.Willie Kool wrote:The Day 1 vote at the time it was halted:MWB wrote:The slappy kill may have been triggered by something else. Unless the reds lose the night kill when they did whatever happened during the day, it makes 0 sense.

That's a pretty convoluted theory, to be honest.

What part is convoluted? The part where it's a waste of a night phase?columbia wrote:That's a pretty convoluted theory, to be honest.

I was just doing it to gauge reactions. redwill didn't seem too pleased you guys were still talking to me.MWB wrote:I don't really get your reaction. Had anyone really said anything negative towards you?MRandall25 wrote:Fine, I'll drop out then. Have fun.

Just trying to figure out what happened there. Do you think it was just a straight day kill?columbia wrote:@MWBcolumbia wrote:That's a pretty convoluted theory, to be honest.

He said it didn't have a tangible effect. It hasn't, has it? Nothing different has happened as a result of it. Many have said its a diversion tactic, and you seem to be the one most diverted by it.MRandall25 wrote:I was just doing it to gauge reactions. redwill didn't seem too pleased you guys were still talking to me.MWB wrote:I don't really get your reaction. Perhaps because I have no idea why? I'm just as confused as you guys are.MWB wrote:He said it didn't have a tangible effect. It hasn't, has it? Nothing different has happened as a result of it. Perhaps I just interpreted redwill's tone differently.

Redwill likes to really get into character for these games. Wouldn't be surprised if he is just RolePlaying an agent that is by the book and doesn't like agents talking to a burned?

I've heard about redwill and role playing, but its not nearly as tame as warz.

Re: ***Secret Agent Warz GAME THREAD***
I'm inclined to believe mrandall is a distraction. He did the Reds a favor and created a "suspicious" list comprised of almost a third of the players on Day 1.
Assuming the moles have that burn notice ability, it wouldn't surprise me they used it on him

Re: ***Secret Agent Warz GAME THREAD***
Why would me comprising a list be doing the reds a favor?
Also, that's only your 2nd post this game. Your first was voting me during the day phase. Why should people believe you over what we've already established?
You're on that list. Think I've got you, eh?

Re: ***Secret Agent Warz GAME THREAD***
What if the burn notice is a byproduct of the seer role. Say I was the seer, and I was suspicious of MRandall in this case. Instead of getting thy info an keeping it private like a normal game, in the spirit of espionage it creates a public burn notice. Sure it may tip the balance of power to the greens, but maybe the reds have some day kills to offset it. Otherwise it seems a pretty pointless aspect of the game.
Note: I am NOT the seer :)
