3 reds + a recruit + an independent?
It would have been impressive, had the village + two greens won.

Re: ***Secret Agent Warz GAME THREAD***
It was not a smoothly modded game. the roles:
Theodore Jefferson: Jehovah - Shaf
you have the power to access the background records of an Excalibur agent every other night. You will be protected from harm when you are safe in your office. The file will provide you with details about their personal history and past missions. On the nights where you cant access your files, you must protect another agent in your impenetrable office. Doing so will allow them to see the last file you opened. You may communicate with Demolitions via PM.
--- Shaf was a seer and angel type, but instead of me saying definitively whether the person he saw was a certain color, i sent back things like IDEALIST, and HISTORY OF BUCKING AUTHORITY. probably wasnt fair in the end.
Jimmy Garfield: Demolitions - Rylan
You may set a bomb under the desk of a fellow agent every other night. The bomb will go off the next night, and can only be disarmed if you conduct your own vote within the players and reach a majority to not kill the agent. This will result in your role being revealed. If you are killed, all explosives you have planted will go off on schedule. You cannot be killed in any phase until at least 1 of your bombs have exploded or been disarmed. You may communicate with Jehovah via PM.
Ulysses Tyler: Traitor - redwill
Leader of the Excalibur traitors. Fed up with Excalibur policing the world, you seek to destroy it from the inside out. You may kill an agent 2 out of 3 nights, or recruit one agent to your cause. (if you act 2 nights in a row, you may not act the 3rd night, if you choose not to act a night, you will be able to act the next two nights.)
Chester Harding: Chaotic Independent - Willie Kool
You used to be a top field agent for Excalibur, but your vast experience has left you unhinged, and with a slender grip on loyalty or even sanity. When the news of an inside conspiracy reaches you, something snaps. This opportunity is just what you were longing for. A chance to sow chaos throughout the agency, no matter the dire consequences they may have for the world. You only want to see the world burn.
Your powers: if a day vote reaches a tie of at least 3-3, PM me if you want to choose one of the two to kill, and it will be done. If votes are made afterwards,( if I’m afk) this will still be carried out, and put burn notices out on agents, or leak info about them during the night phase (choose one). if the game ends with either team winning by 1, (reds take majority with 1 remaining, or village wins 2-1 before final phase, you accomplish your mission.)
---- this was where i made my huge blunder. instead of letting WK write the burns and leaks from the start, i did them myself, but failed to tell him that first of all, all the information would be FALSE. which led to the columbia debacle and pretty much ruined his chances.

so, all the burn notices and "found" documents were from Willie, the bombs were planted by rylan, and the info canaan was talking about was originally what shaf looked up in his computer, along with a couple others that never made it out to anyone else.

It was a good game Kaizer. I liked the espionage feel, but Shad and I had major difficulty deciphering wtf was going on. And by the time we put the pieces together it was much too late. A few kinks that needed worked out, but all in all that was a fun game. Thanks.

it should have just been "redwill is red." "pfidc is red." the would have both been dead long before the end.

It worked out OK, and I came pretty close to winning anyway. Just added to the chaosKaizer wrote:instead of letting WK write the burns and leaks from the start, i did them myself, but failed to tell him that first of all, all the information would be FALSE. which led to the columbia debacle and pretty much ruined his chances.

it was pretty obvious that couldn't be red.Willie Kool wrote:It worked out OK, and I came pretty close to winning anyway. I really liked columbia pleading with the village not to kill me.

I liked figuring it out, but I don't know. Shad and I both agreed it was cool making us figure things out, but we dropped the ball on it. The fact that we could PM was a huge benefit though. I liked that.Kaizer wrote:it should have just been "redwill is red." "pfidc is red." the would have both been dead long before the end.

It was fun working with tfrizz, PFIDC, and MWB. Them folks know the game and we only had to say a few words to each other to get on the same page.
I don't know how columbia figured out I was Ulysses Tyler from the dossier canaan gave out. We all thought for sure columbia was the seer at that point.
Thanks for the game, Kaizer.

Ulysses Tyler just seems to fit you, redwill. That's who I thought you were, too (but I was dead)

Re: ***Secret Agent Warz GAME THREAD***
And therein lies the rub. When we received redwill's dossier, we thought "Ok, he has a bit of a wild streak, idealistic....but I hardly think that makes him red."
Similarly, when we received canaan's dossier, it was a sterling review written in all caps. When we saw THAT, it set our radars off because it seemed a bit *too* good to be true.
Really no excuse for me letting MWB off the hook at the end though. He was acting blatantly red for the second half of the game, and I knew it as soon as he started aligning himself close to me after I voted for him previously. Just didn't go through with it.
Thank you and very fun game, just think it was a bit heavily tilted against the good guys. Thanks again Kaizer!!

Yeah, and "History of idealism, bucking authority, many reprimands on file" makes me sound much more interesting than I am.shafnutz05 wrote:And therein lies the rub. If we had a way to gauge what everything meant, perhaps a bit more to the dossier would have helped?

If the columbia mix-up hadn't happened, things would have been more balanced. I needed to kill off some blues, but I intended to actually deliver a red when I came out.shafnutz05 wrote:just think it was a bit heavily tilted against the good guys

A little tilted but it didn't help that one person had to quit and we couldn't get 20. Whatevs though still a good time.
