- one of the seashell wars or whatever when npv and i were masons and we could talk to each other and i told him to post a thread in NPR with an even number in it if he was blue and i was looking in nhr and didnt see it in npr and voted him out. classic.

- zarovich. that guy was the best
My favorite was always killing Dagny night 1 when I was red or night 2 when I was a vig

Some of the originals were the best. pitching a shut out for the wolves was easily my favorite moment.

How did I miss this thread earlier?
Animal Farm and Robin of Sherwood were up there for me, probably due the purple faction angle of my role, but the bar was set high in my first game, the first Jellyfish Invasion. Lots of names from that day not playing recently.

Re: Favorite Warz Moments
Thinking back on things, there have been some extraordinary games. I mean, I'm really flabbergasted at the brilliance of the designs.
Nintendo 8-bit Mafia : Pavel Bure created the game that changed the way we do things. New ideas, new roles, complete confusion ... and great fun. Wars has not been the same since.
NHL Wars : shaf as a vampire who came back as a baddie and totally f'ed up what I thought was a sure destruction of the baddies. Plus the original (I think?) Malkameltdown. Oh, and the two greatest write-ups ever IMO: Dino Ciccarelli and Edzo playing poker (both from canaan.)
Jellyfish Invasion I : Wild packages, amazing twists, and mass confusion. Some of the most innovative gameplay ever. Took what Pavel Bure did in Nintendo to a new level. Maybe the greatest Wars game ever ('though not my favorite since I didn't do too well).
Fantasy Wars : Introduced many new ideas, including the Cult. Hard work for the mods, but every post in the game was scintillating. Brilliant design. But it's no wonder it hasn't been tried again: The mods (mostly jaysmiter) must've fell down dead when it was done.
NHL GM Wars : Very creative design by PFIDC. Players divided into two conferences which then go at each other in the endgame. Wow. Great fun.

Re: Favorite Warz Moments
Definitely have to give some props to Pavel for his 8-bit mafia game. I had never really dug into the possibilities that were out there prior to that. The insanity which I helped to unleash in Jellyfish Invasion, Barnyard Battle and Lost Wars would not have been possible otherwise.
JI3 will happen some day.

By far my favorite role I have played. Its why I <3 independents in games.the wicked child wrote:Shad being socialized in Jellyfish Invasion 2 and obhave the zombie alpaca in Barnyard Battle 2.
Outside of that... Maybe corv's writeup of npv being eaten in Slug Warz.
Honorable mention to c2i being brought back to life in JI2. The circumstances that were required for that to happen were beyond ridiculous... It was truly fate.

Actually though, looking at what we did have together... I like. Still some holes to fill, but this will be another good one when/if we do.

As long as it doesn't turn out like Duke Nukem Forever, the wait, regardless of how long, will be worth it.Rylan wrote:JI3 is turning into the LGP Warz version of Half-Life 3...
I have figured out Rylan's role though: The Elder Jelly
As the Elder Jelly, you are old. So old that you die before Day 1. Peace.
