dear Lord- baby Pens had 1 shot in the first period and 5 in period 2. Game 2 not going as well- out shot 27 to 6 starting the third. Down only 3-1 though

I believe there is an exception for junior players to allow them to play without being on the clear day roster, since rules dictate that they can't be on the roster for clear day (typically).

Players from lower professional leagues can also be added if they played in at least eight games in the AHL and/or a lower league in 2012-13.

They can both come in and play if the coaches want them to.

Thanks. I couldn't find a source for it, but I knew I had seen players come up from junior for the AHL playoffs on several occasions.
