Does this mean Aaron Hernandez is not a good keeper for next season?

He's an NFL player, its likely that he won't miss any time unless he injures himself. Its just a human fatality, its not like he had dogs fight shot himself or something.

I'm no expert or anything, but my first thought was that the Pats got news Hernandez was about to catch a murder charge.

Same. I couldn't see them immediately releasing someone of his talent level if they didn't know he was up for something more serious than obstruction.

I know you're not supposed to punch people in the face, but to be charged with attempted murder for a punch seems excessive.

if he's getting charged with attempted murder, he likely had it planned and beat him to within an inch of his life. I highly doubt he punched him in the face once, walked away, and is getting charged with attempted murder.

Yeah there's gotta be something missing there because I saw that headline and thought the same thing. Isn't punching a dude at a bar what an "assault" charge is for, not "attempted murder"?

Does anything happen to that? Does it depend what happens legally with Hernandez?

When you play for Cleveland, the best you can hope for is an attempt at being a successful something.

Yeah, the guy he hit is still in the hospital in critical condition.
