You're just going to get voted out for this. You can see how intentionally refusing to create a voting record is bad for the village, right?thehockeyguru wrote:I'll abstain for now.slappybrown wrote:Thanks for the contribution.thehockeyguru wrote:I can't remember the last time that I voted day 1. yeah, i fail to see how not voting could improve the way in which you see how people vote.

The SDD vote seems like one of those classic "I'm looking for anything, I mean ANYTHING said by a player, to throw them under the bus" type of votes.

It doesn't, and its incredibly stupid, and Chapter 19 in THG's tome "How to Not Play Warz: An Expurt's Guide" [sic]

I cant see why slowing the vote down, starting a discussion and seeing how other people vote could be helpful to the village.

Re: The Dark Knight Game Thread
How does "I am joining the bandwagon on day 1 to generate discussion" make any sense? Its (1) something a red would say to try to fly under the radar and provide some justification for a vote when none is needed because its day 1, or (2) just a mistake. On day 1, it looks better to me than anything else.columbia wrote:The SDD vote seems like one of those classic "I'm looking for anything, I mean ANYTHING said by a player, to throw them under the bus" type of votes.

Pretty much. It's the reason day 1 is often very quiet because the first person to say anything of substance is often the first person voted out.columbia wrote:The SDD vote seems like one of those classic "I'm looking for anything, I mean ANYTHING said by a player, to throw them under the bus" type of votes.

Re: The Dark Knight Game Thread
How does you not voting at all on day 1 accomplish that? No one is saying you can't take your time to vote, but this idea that you are the Phil Donohue of the Warz games is out and out moronic. The detached moderator role in warz is not a thing.thehockeyguru wrote:I cant see why slowing the vote down, starting a discussion and seeing how other people vote could be helpful to the village.

But not making sense does not equal being red.

Right; I'm expressly providing for him not being red in my post. The only rule I follow is reds lie. This isn't a lie like I caught THG in last game, but its just off/wrong. Unless you have something better, that's my vote.

By not voting, thg does make it difficult to determine if he is red.

I probably didn't word it properly. By voting, it moves along the game, which creates discussion as the person that is receiving votes will most likely defend themselves in some manner. Like slappy said reds will sometimes lie during this defense. I'm not sure how I lied by poorly wording a sentence.

This isn't a revenge vote, mind you. Your vote strikes me as the kind of vote where:
A) You know full well SDD is blue, so it's no skin off your back going against the fray.
B) This is backwards, forced logic. You're right, if I was red, I would boldly leave my vote on MRandall even though he claimed green, I know he's green, and there is no way he is going to get voted out today anyway.
