So how does the defense look for guys under contract?
Signed:
Samuelsson
Ruopp
Dumoulin
Harrington
D'Agostino
McNeil
Free agents that could return?
Seymour
Velischek
Mormina
Wild
Bortuzzo
That's a young group, I would assume at least Mormina would come back unless someone gives him a crack at the NHL.
So thoughts from people who know the players?

Mormina signed with another AHL club, a little bit surprising to me as he was the Captain, but the other team must have given him considerable more money and hopes that he could get in a few NHL games.DelPen wrote:So how does the defense look for guys under contract?

Samuelsson is almost an experienced AHL'er by now. Dumoulin played enough to be trusted this year. The rest are green, BUT they need minutes. I hope the WBS squad runs with just thos guys, give them tons of developmental minutes.

Add Brendan Mikkelson, who was signed to a two-way deal in July. He's your experienced vet. Has played 131 NHL games.
