Re: WW XXV: A Return to Letsgopensburgh
I think, and I could be wrong, that the angel in the original WW games could self protect each night. IF that is the case, it could be inexperienced wolves that are part of this game, thinking MR didn't have a self-protect night 2.CBear3 wrote:Dunno. I'd bet they try it again though. The most likely angel scenarios are:
A) Save whomever whenever you like
B) you can't save the same person back to back
C) you get saves alternating nights
If its B or C MR25 dies tonight. It would severely weaken the village then because the seer can't come out without knowing it'll be his last post. I'm an awful red, but I'd take those odds.

Re: WW XXV: A Return to Letsgopensburgh
So I dont quite understand what I did to gain the attention of a few players but whatever.
I really can't make heads or tails of anything especially since there were not a lot of votes on rel. Since the limit doesn't have to be reached to kill it is smart for the reds to try and spread out the vote so we have little to go on for the next day phase.
At this point i think it would be best to reach a limit and hopefully be able to pull info from that on the next day phase. So what would make the most sense is Zaro, myself, or redwill. Since I dont want to die.

I disagree completely, if you don't mind me saying. I think only a good player makes that attempt.MWB wrote:I think, and I could be wrong, that the angel in the original WW games could self protect each night. I've only got one vote on me. SDD backed out. What a coward. Haha.PensHckyFan79 wrote:At this point i think it would be best to reach a limit and hopefully be able to pull info from that on the next day phase. So what would make the most sense is Zaro, myself, or redwill.

I think he's saying that a good red would go after me because he assumes that I am banking on the reds not taking a shot at me after the claim.MWB wrote:I do mind. Cross between self preservation and I actually think he could be red.

Who else would the angel protect night 2?MRandall25 wrote:I think he's saying that a good red would go after me because he assumes that I am banking on the reds not taking a shot at me after the claim.MWB wrote:I do mind. Re: WW XXV: A Return to Letsgopensburgh
I see where MWB is coming from. A player who is used to the angel being limited to not being able to protect consecutive nights would take a shot at the angel night 2.redwill wrote:I disagree completely, if you don't mind me saying. But why stick your neck out and say you wont vote for Zaro without knowing what he is? If he turns out to be Red it looks like you tried to derail the bandwagon.CBear3 wrote:I'll have to remember not to do it the next time I'm red then THG.
I started that post by saying I would vote for him. My main hope is that when a vote gets cast for a quiet person in day two or even three that they wake up and participate. Most of the time the player winds up blue and either forgets there's a game going on or doesn't have much to add.
Heck, I've added very little but have probably ten posts just because I'm an annoying chatterbox. I at least it shows I'm interested in the game.

I never said I wouldn't vote for Zaro
I said I'd rather vote a non-quiet.

Did you have a reason?
I'm not really going on anything right now.

Fair enough. Why I am not voting him because he hasn't raised my suspicions yet.

I'm slowly getting the impression that MWB has become somewhat annoyed with the playing style I occasionally employ. Or maybe it's an homage.

L'homage de redwill has ended.
I'm good with Zaro. He gets called out for not posting, then posts 30 minutes later.

I've read over this three or four times now, and I still don't know what all these words are for. So maybe Rylan would be a good vote too.Rylan wrote:Yes, but conversation is beneficial for the village. The limited amount we do, the easier it is to hide one's status of being a baddie. We are voting based on someone's limited interaction, when in reality the majority of players fit that bill. In this instance, I am not against it because I feel there is something there. Unfortunately, going through the game we will see more damage to the village brought about having to catch up using small data rather than a game's worth of information.
